Truly Scrumptious Challenge

Another Challenge I have entered 2 in one week a record!! and what a brilliant sketch it is on Truly Scrumptious this week, perfect for showing off another of the lovely Lili of the Valley Baby Fairy images .

Today I have “Dandelion Clock” for you she has been coloured with copics, and has Liquid Pearls, Polar White Flowersoft and Glitter added.  The Papers are a Nitwit download called   “Butterfly Kisses” , The Lace and Ribbon are from Wild Orchid Craft, and the sentiment is from the New Lili of the Valley Releases.

I decided to use punched flowers for a change, (it is a big wrench not to use my normal lovely roses etc), the flowers have been punched from the same backing papers with a Medium and small Retro Flower Punch, I have used a ball to0l to shape them, then added some of Wild Orchid Crafts Flat Backed Pearls.  The filigree corner is from Panduro.

  Copics Used: Flesh E21, E00, E000, Hair, Y32, YR21, Wings, Shoes & Petticoat R83, R81, RV000, RV0000, Skirt B95, B93m B91.

Woke up freezing this morning, checked the radiators stone cold, then checked the boiler to find it has broken down, so I am off to find a decent heating engineer now, must get it done before the snow thats forecast for later this week.

WOC Challenge

Our challenge this week on Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge Blog is to use the colours Pink, White an Silver
You don’t have to use Wild Orchid Crafts products to enter, but if you do that would be wonderful. You can combine our challenge with any other challenges of your choice and as long as you follow the theme for this challenge and you link back to Wild Orchid Challenge blog you will qualify to be in the draw for the fab prize.

I had a picture of this card in my head before I started but unfortunately it didn’t transfer IRL as well as I wanted it to.  Oh Well!!! it happens some times.  I have used an image from the fabulous Vintage Christmas Set by Stempleglede which I bought from Quixotic Paperie, there are 4 stunning vintage images on this stamp sheet  with 2 sentiments.   I think I should of used Tim Holtzs Weathered Wood Distress Ink to stamp this up instead of the Black Versafine .  The paper is by Magnolia and I have used one The Silent Night Music Stamp again from Magnolia.  I stamped the Music Stamp out twice, tore around both images and distressed with Weathered Wood.

This picture was taken from above, I think you can see the flowers and image a bit clearer on here.  of course the beautiful flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, Angel Charm is from The Hobby House and silver leaves are from stash.

Sketch Saturday Challenge

Wow cannot believe I am actually entering a challenge it must be the first in a few weeks, I have always found that if I am stuck for ideas Sketch Saturday is bound to come up trumps and it has today.

Another sneak peek for you from Lili of the Valley's January 2011 release this is one of the four gorgeous Little Fairies and she is called “Birthday Fairy” isn’t she wonderful.  The papers are from Memory Box Gossamer Paper Pad available from Quixotic Paperie, one of my favourite pads.  The sentiment is also from LOTV new release.  I have used Stardust Stickles around the edges of the Nestie Mats and Sentiment, but being impatient I took the piccie before it had dried so it looks a bit blobby, but it is fine IRL now.

I took this picture so you can see the Cherry Blossom, 10mm Roses and Rosebuds from Wild Orchid Crafts properly.  The Flat Back Pearls are from The Hobby House.

Copis used: Flesh: E21, E00, E000, Hair and Bear: E53, E51, E50 , Skirt, Shoes Wings & Bow: R85, R83, R81, RV000, RV0000, Jumper & Oressie: G20, G21, G41

DT Cards For Flowersoft

I am sorry I have been so lack this last couple of weeks in my card making,  I am hoping to increase my output this week!!!   I do have some cards made a couple of months ago that I have not posted so thought I would show these to you today.  I was asked to make some DT Cards for Flowersoft Uk using their cute  Charlies Ark stamps, I really enjoyed using these adorable stamps.  Here a just a few of the cards I made.

The stamp used on this card is called Up and Away, and hs been coloured with Copics as usual, glossy accents have been used on the ballons.  The Papers are by Imaginise and flowers of course are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the Sentiment and small ballons are also on the Up and Away Stamp Plate.

This Card is using  the I Love You Stamp Plate.

This Stamp plate includes a sweet sentiment, a gorgeous little mouse and names to stamp in the heart, again coloured with Copics, I have cut out the windows added acetate behind and mounted onto Dark blue card.

Last for today is this one using In the Air stamp plate

Hope I will be back tomorrow with a card I have managed to create today.

Big Hugs

Just Magnolia Challenge

Before I  get on to this week’s challenge I have some sad news.  Donalda has decided to step down from the DT due to work commitments and some personal issues.  Donalda has been with us from day one and we she is a wonderful friend I know I will miss her very much .  Thanks for all you did for JM hun xx

The theme for our Special Monthly Challenge is "Anything Goes". But this month we have added the option of making your creation SPARKLE.

I am still finding it an effort to craft, my energy levels are at zero, luckily I had this gorgeous Tilda coloured up from a few weeks ago so although I am very late at least I managed to make my DT card this week.

Tilda has been coloured with Copics (forgot  the numbers sorry), I have used  one of my new Go Kreate nestie dies stamped and glittered to sit Tilda on,  if you have just bought a Grand Calibur you really need to go and visit Go Kreate they are selling Extra Large Dies at a fraction of the cost of Spellbinders and they cut and emboss beautifully, I am really impressed.  The paper is from Magnolias Christmas Collection available at Crafts U Love .  The Glittered snowflakes have been punched with Martha Stewart Punch as has the Snowflake Border, Ribbon and Cherry Blossom from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I have been asked where I get my Laser Cut Butterflies and corners here are the links Butterflies, Corners , hope this helps
