I have coloured Popcorn with Copics as usual!!!, he really is easy to colour and I love being able to use bright colours fro Christmas. The Flowers were white poinsettias that I sprayed with Lava Red Cosmic Shimmer Mist, (thanks for the tip Bev), and IRL they have the most fantastic Shimmer.

Your sew Sweet

Good Morning and welcome to the weekend its time for Penny Black Saturday Challenge again and this week we have a lovely sketch for you from our very own Beth. Looking forward to seeing your creations with this lovely sketch

Beths Sketch

to see the full challenge and my fellow DT's great creations just click Here

Another vintage PB stamp again this week, she has been coloured with copics, and the lovely papers are from a Sweete Shoppe Download. A very quick card from me and a very quick post, have just managed to creep up here while the boys are eating their breakfast.

I think we might take a bus trip to our local wild life centre today, its an ideal place for the boys as lots of animals roam free and twice a day there is a presentation when you get the chance to handle Snakes and Spiders, my kudos goes up with the boys as I love handling the snake and even hold my breath and let the spider crawl over my hand, Ben thinks Nanny Fossil is very brave. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend

Just Magnolia Challenge

This week we have a fabulous sketch for you from our very own Martine, hope you enjoy working with it, I know I did. Our sponsor this week is the lovely generous Heidi from Simon says Stamp. To see the sketch and join us this week just click Here.

Good morning I hope you are all looking forward to the weekend, here in the UK we are forcast a nice sunny and warm few days, Yipee!! so this week card seems very apt. I love these new Summer Tildas and have used Sailor Tilda and background stamp from the new release the life bouy is also an older Magnolia Stamp, I have punched a circle and coloured with Copics to make the sun, the rest of the image has been coloured with Distress Inks. There dosn't seem to be much contrast between the papers in the photos but there is IRL, I run the blue card through the cuttlebug in the swirl folder hoping it gives the impression of waves.

Now I think I have an apology to make to all my lovely followers for yesterdays Post Title, I had to laugh at the amount of you who thought my little Pink Bundle had arrived still no news I am afraid, so I am going to have Ben and Robert for a few days again as Vikki is really suffering in this hot and humid weather. I am also working on a new project for Crafters Companion that is due for release on Ideal World next Wednesday at 9pm. I am trying to get as much blog hopping done in the next couple of hours before the boys arrive if I don't get round to you I apologise now and thank you all for your continuing support.

Birthday Wishes and Some Exciting News

First my really exciting news, I have made it onto the Inky Impressions Design Team, as this was a last minute decision to apply I am so shocked and honoured that they have chosen me to work along with such a fantastically talented team of crafters. I just love their beautiful stamps and am looking forward to working with them, thanks for choosing me.

I just had to enter this week challenge after this news, didn't I, the challenge this week is a colour challenge, this really stretched me as I am not very good with multiple colours, but I must say I am quite pleased with the results. the colours are below, but if you do not have any SU products in this colours it is OK to use the nearest you have, for lots of inspiration and to learn more about the challenge just click HERE

(certainly celery, baja breeze, chocolate chip, pixie pink)

I am afraid I don't have any SU products in the challenge colours so I have coloured Lili's Birthday Cake with Distress Inks, (Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, Shabby Shutters, Broken China and Tea Dye). The papers are from my stash draw I think the plaid one is from a DCVW pad.
The flowers were a RAK from the lovely Martine, thanks dear xx,

Sketch Saturday Challenge

Wow what a fantastic sketch this week on Sketch Saturday Challenge it has been designed by the very talented Sandra from Sandra Dry Designs, she is also very generously offer the candy this week.

This wonderful digi image is from Mo's Digital Pencil, I am addicted to these fabulous drawn images, and this little boy called John has to be my favourite, what a wonderful card it makes for a loving Grandma. I have coloured John with copics and have aimed for a watercolour look, the sketch is quite busy and I really didn't want to drown the image so I have kept the embellies to a minimum.

Floral Fantasy

A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge

The Challenge this week on SFOS is Florals, what a lovely theme. Lots of stunning creations by my fellow Dt members on the challenge blog so pop over have a look and come and join us.

I am so sorry to all of you who received that compromised e-mail from me yesterday, hope not too many of you opened it, I am assured it e-mails everyone on your contact list and then disappears, it does not actually hack into any secure areas of your PC. By the time I had calmed down and run a full virus scan, I had about half an hour left to make my card for todays challenge, so this is the quickest card ever, and it shows.

I have used one of the "Charming" Pixies from Charmed cards and Crafts download for this card, she has been coloured with Copics,(I wish I knew of some Watercolour Paper that is thin enough to go through the Printer as I think she would look great coloured with Inks). I used the Dahlia Nestie and a Cuttlebug Corner die to add some shapes to the card, and of course my beloved Wild Orchid Craft Roses. The ribbon is from a Raspberry Ribbon Monthly Kit.

I will be back to post another card made with one of Mos fabulous Line Drawings later I was hoping to have it ready for this morning, but have to add the finishing touches.

Still No news I am afraid on the baby front, she must be very comfortable in there!!

Penny Black Challenge - WOJ Project of the Month and One for Fun

If you are seeing this then my sheduling has worked, I always worry about it.

Still waiting :( !!!, last nights post below will explain.

I am still in a rush so I hope you will forgive me for not adding any links on this post, but there are links to all the challenges and websites on my sidebar.

This week on Penny Black Challenge we have a challenge that should be apt for the start of August SUMMER but here in the UK I am afraid its more like autumn, so lets see lots of your summery creations to bring a bit of sun into our lives!!!

I love this great Penny Black Stamp and that cat sure looks as if he is enjoying the Sun, he has been coloured with copics and I have 3d the Lace and Pegs. The two tiny butterflies seemed like a good idea at the time but not sure they work. The flower was punched with the Large and Medium Retro Flower Punch and I also punched the top of the petals of the large flower with a fiskars border punch.

Whiff of Joy project of the Month

Our Project this month was to make a WEDDING FAVOUR, my fellow DT members have made some truly stunning favours and these can been seen on the Whiff of Joy website, just click on POM along the top bar.

The Pillow boxes were a template from Crafters Companion LOVE CD, I resized the two smaller ones and tied them all together with a lilac ribbon.

The Whiff of Joy Image is Wedding Carriage from Elizabeth Bells Wedding Collection, and has been coloured with Distress Inks, I then added flat backed pearls and flowersoft. The Brides Veil and dress have been painted with Shimmerez. I will be posting some Birthday Cards next week that I have made for the Grandchildren to give to Owen for his Birthday, Whiff of Joys New Alison Actons Party Animals are just right for boys cards and you all seem to like them as much as we do.

This one is just for fun and helped to past the time today. It is another of the wonderful Line drawings available to download from Mo's website (link on the sidebar). I cannot believe the website has only been up for a couple of weeks Mo already has a dedicated group of followers.

This darling little girl is called Claire she has been coloured with Copics, papers are all from my scrap drawer. Hope you like.

Thanks for staying with me and sorry for such a long post, Hope to have some news for you tomorrow
