Whiff of Joy Challenge

We have a fabulous sketch for you this week on Whiff of Joy Challenge by our very own Bev, I know I will use this one lots of times. I hope you can come and join us again this week.

I have used Willow from the new Whiff of Joy shop kit on todays card. The ship kit will only be available to buy from your local shop and not on the Whiff of Joy website, so if you would like to purchase it please ask your local shop to get in touch with Whiff of Joy.

I have used distressed inks to colour Willow, the papers are from my scrap drawer, the large pearl buttons are available from The Hobby House. Of course the flowers which have been edged with Stickles are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Here is the DT creation I should have posted late yesterday for Peachy Keen Challenge, I didn’t even turn on the PC yesterday so sorry its late.

Now here is this weeks challenge! It's going to be another recipe,

• Must contain green and yellow anywhere on the project
• Must have a 3-dimensional element on the project (could be an image popped out, embellishment, ribbon, etc.)
• Must contain a stamped image

I have used the new Faceless Vegetable stamps available from Peachy Keen for this little Planting Diary. I will be giving it to my Uncle who’s birthday is tomorrow. I have used Basic Grey Papers on the covers of the diary and coloured the Veggies with Copics. Each page inside has been stamped with a different vegetable,

I would like to say a VERY BIG THANK YOU to everyone who left me such sweet Happy Birthday messages, I was overwhelmed with them all, especially as I have been such a bad blogger these last 2 weeks. I wish I could tell you why I have not been able to visit you all but am not free to say at the moment, But watch this space, things should ease up after tomorrow, I really miss visiting everyone and also picking up new ideas and trends from your wonderful blogs, I feel completely out of the loop at the moment. Anyway thank you again for your good wishes.

I will be choosing the winner of my Candy after I have posted this so watch for the announcement.

Some of the DT have used the images Elizabeth very kindly gave us to play with, so pop over to the challenge blog to see their great creations.

As you  normally see Distress Ink colouring from me I thought I would go with the Pearl option and use Elizabeth's fabulous digi image.  I have used copics to colour, I  think the card got mixed up on the printer as it was really difficult to blend on this card, Oh well!!!! it doesn't look to bad.  The papers are Imaginise.

Whiff of Joy DT Card

I received my DT package from Whiff of Joy on Friday, it contained the new Bi Monthly Collection by Elizabeth Bell, and I just had to stop working on my commission work last night and colour these beautiful images up.

This card includes 4 stamps from the sheet, which this time is already mounted on Eazi Mount, Here you have Willow, The Birdhouse, Sentiment and gorgeous flowers.  It has all been coloured with Distress Inks,

Face & Arms: Tattered Rose, Tea Dye and Worn Lipstick . Hair Tea Dye, Flowers, Dress Worn Lipstick, Aged Mahogany, Leaves Peeled Paint, Frayed Burlap, Birdhouse Frayed Burlap.

The Paper is MME Quite Contrary from Dies to Die for.

Celebrate Friendship

Sorry this is a very quick post again, but I just had to let you see another of the gorgeous Lili of the Valley sneak peeks, I am so in love with these little Kitties, don’t forget you will be able to get your hands on them on 10th March.

I was searching for a sketch to use this morning and I found this great one on Sketch and Stash Challenge.

I should learn that it is never a good idea to do things in a hurry, I really wanted to get this card up this morning and couldn’t wait for the stickles to dry so if you look closely you will see I have smudged them.   I have coloured this cute Kittie and Friend with Copics, the papers are Little Yellow Bicycle, and the flowers of course come from Wild Orchid Crafts , the sentiment is from SU.

Two For One

Just when I think Lili of the Valleys images just couldn’t  get any sweeter look what arrives!!!!!, now you would have to be very hard hearted not to just adore this gorgeous stamp, and their are five more being released on 10th March, another little girl and 4 of the cutest cats you have ever seen.  I am so happy to belong to this fantastic companies DT and have all these wonderful images to play with I must be one of the luckiest “Girls” in the world.   Keep you eyes open for sneak peeks from the rest of the DT and I lay a bet you will have trouble not wanting to buy them all and at £3.75 they are so reasonable.

I I am going to enter  this card for 2 challenges  (I think it qualifies for both) Truly Scrumptious have a fabulous sketch with the option of make it a Birthday Card and Cute Card Thursday are asking us to use Metal on our Cards (I have used Brads and Eyelets).

I have coloured Me and My Pony with Copics and added Glamour Dust to the flowers,  The papers are a Nit Wits download.

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend, mine is all planned out for me, Work, Work, Work!!!!!! but it all has to be completed by Thursday so hopefully I can take it easy then

Just Magnolia Challenge

Hi everyone, its blooming snowing again here!!!!!! I am so longing for spring to arrive.  I love Fridays 2 of my favourite challenges to post. 

Jay Jay has designed  a fabulous sketch for you this week on Just Magnolia Challenge and the DT have  created some of the most awesome cards, so do hope you can join us again this week.  This week we are sponsored by our very own Guest Designer Kellie (of Magnolia Down Under) who has donated two of the new Magnolia stamps for the prize.  The shop website is down at the moment but you can contact Kellie through her blog.

This is one of my new release Tildas from Crafts U Love, these little darlings just get more adorable.  She has been coloured with Distress Inks.  The scrummy papers are from Martha Stewart Baby Boy Pad available from Dies to Die For.  The obligatory  Martha Stewart punch has been used  as have the wonderful flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, the glass beads were taken off of this years Christmas Crackers.

Wags-n-Whiskers Challenge

It was my turn to choose the challenge this week on Wags-n-Whiskers Challenge, after a lot of consideration I came up with My Favourite Things,  we would like to see your cards made with all your card making favourites.  Wow my fellow Divas look as if they have had fun with this one don’t forget to visit the Wags-n-Whiskers blog to see there creations and also find out where to buy these fabulous stamps.

I am afraid this card is a bit over the top as I wanted to add as many of my favourite things as possible, to start this fabulous image “Love you Sis”, which has been coloured with my favourite medium Distress Inks, todays favourite papers “October Afternoon” a Swirl punch, Martha Stewart Punch (everyone of her punches is my favourite so this was hard to decide on), and what card of mine would be complete without Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers.  I am really looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Off to do the HW!!!! hopefully I will be seeing the family this weekend.  Hope you have a fabulous break

Fairy Wishes

 Lili of the Valley Challenge

We have a fabulous sketch designed by our very own Domi on Lili of the Valley Challenge,  we also have two new DT members the fabulous Poppet (Pops) and Dawny P.  We are looking for a GDT for 4 challenges and also have some great candy on offer.  Do hope you can come and join us.  Don’t forget you do not have to use Lili of the Valley products on your creation.

 

This little Lili of the Valley fairy has been coloured with Distress Inks, Glamour Dust has been added to her wings and present.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaves are punched with a McGill pinch.  The delicious matching papers are downloaded from Lili of the Valley , there is a great selection of the website and Lisa has told me they will be adding more this week.  I have used a Martha Stewart Ribbon Punch on the bottom of the card.

Sweet Memories

 

Whiff of Joy Challenge

A lovely challenge for you this week really girly and an excuse to get all your fabulous embellies out to play with,  SWIRLS AND PEARLS is what we are looking for, you can imagine how much I loved making a card for this one.  Hope you can come and join us this week, my Fellow DR members have created the most stunning cards to get you started.  Don’t forget the only rule is you must use a Whiff of Joy stamp on your creation.

It is such a long time since I used this lovely Whiff of Joy stamp, so pleased I got her out again, she is just such a dream to colour, I have used Distress Inks to colour her.   The swirls around the circle are again by Whiff of Joy and where stamped and glittered.  The papers which have been distressed are called Blueberry Hill.  The lovely lace was a RAK and the flowers of course  are by Wild Orchid Crafts.

 

I went to bed at 3.30 last night I have so much commission work to do and too few days to do it in, so may be MIA again for a while.  I have made the cards for most of my DT commitments for the next week so should have something to show everyday, but will not be writing much

Spring Time

A Spoonfull of Sugar

It is my week to choose the theme and as Nikki had so generously given every DT member a stamp from the new release what better theme than SPRING.  

I have used the image called Easter Blessing for my card and have used Distressed Inks to colour it, the papers are Basic Grey.   I said a few weeks ago that I had seen the Martha Stewart Bunny Border punch and had resisted buying it, but I gave in and just had to order it from Dies to Die For, I am so pleased I did :).

The fabulous Daffodils, roses and spray are from Wild Orchid Crafts, I am in love with these Daffodils what fabulous spring embellishments they make.

Razzle Dazzle

This fortnights challenge on Fussy and Fancy Challenge is “DAZZLE US”, and I am hoping this meets the criteria as there is lots of glitter and bling on here.

Another wonderful Sweet Pea Image by Ching Chou Kuik only available in the UK from Crafts and Me. She took ages to colour but I loved every minutes of it, I used Copics on Manga Art Board. I am still playing with chalks to get the perfect background, think I am getting there. The fabulous punched border is a Martha Stewart Punch which I bought from Crafts U love, after I had pinched the border I swept over it with the same chalks I used for the background, I am really pleased with the results.

At long last I am completely up to date, I have sorted out my Candy for you, just got to take the photos, then I will post it, and I have started to reply to all the lovely comments you have left me, I have really missed blog hopping.

Here at last is my DT card for this weeks Just Magnolia Challenge, I received my fabulous new release Magnolias from Crafts U Lovea few days ago but have just not had time to use them, not like me I know, but since my visit to Durham I have just been really busy with new projects and will be for quite a few weeks.

I have coloured this little Ladybug Love Tilda with Distress Inks and have added Black Glitter to her spots. The gorgeous papers are from Magnolia, O hope the new papers appear on websites to buy soon.



The ribbon and the red heart bead string is from Crafty Ribbons and of course the beautiful Red roses and rosebuds are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the Stunning Black Rose is from Tabbycrafts. Sorry the picture is a bit dark, I am trying to find my way around the new camera.

Wags'n Whiskers Sneak Peek Plus a little bit more

Wags'n Whiskers Blog Hop

At last I am able to sharing this card with you my Camera turned up and after a couple of hours charging the battery I am able to join in today's Wags ‘n Whiskers Blog Hop! If you missed the beginning of the hop, then start over Here and go visit each Diva’s blog. There will be 4 random blogs chosen among us and they will then pick a winner. The winner can then choose 2 stamps of their chose. The blog hop will remain open all weekend and will close on Monday 12pm GMT/7am EST



This little cutie is "Happy Day" and has been designed by our New designer Cris de Lara, of you would like to own this darling stamp and more like her just click Here. She has been coloured with Copics, I will try to remember to take a photo of the colours I use in future. The papers are Basic Grey. I just had to use the new Wild Roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, the range of colours is stunning and these are just the perfect size for card making.




And this little Extra is the card I should have posted yesterday, if I have a favourite from the new images this just has to be it, Chrissy has managed to capture a wonderful angelic look on her face.
