A Festive Fairy
Morning Peeps, hope you all had a good weekend. Whilst at Harrogate I picked up some Lili of the Valley Die Cut sheets, I thought they would be a good back up if I was stuck for a card, although I haven’t used any of the Die Cuts yet I thought I would have a go at copying the colouring of the Lili of the Valley Festive Fairy Stamp on the die cuts. I am so pleased with the results especially as they are not colours I would usually use.
If you are new to colouring and have bought Lili of the Valley stamps and are not sure where to start on colour combos I think buying a couple of sheets of the the Lili of the Valley Die Cuts would be an excellent idea, they are only £1 a sheet and there are 6 images per sheet, I wish I had been able to get my hands on them when I first started colouring.
The Card blank was cut with a Go-Kreate Large Frilly Frame No 4 as was the first layer of Backing paper, the snowflake tucked behind the image is a Spellbinders Die, I also made a tag to tuck behind the image which has been cut with Nestie.
I made 1 latge and 1 small rose with a Marianne Design Die and cut two sets of leaves from Doo Hickey die both dies from Crafts U Love, the Green Ribbon and sweet blossoms are from The Ribbon Girl, and the bell charms are from The Hobby House.
Have a lovely week

The Joys of Blogging
I started blogging about 3 years ago after visiting Pink Petticoats website to buy some papers and following the link to their blog, oh my gosh the wonderful creations I saw on the blog just blew me away and and I knew that I wanted to be able to create stunners like the ones saw I on there and to be able to share them with other crafters, the first link from the Pink Petticoat Blog I clicked on was to the Fabulous Dawny P’s Blog, from there I found Andrea Brownjohn, Annie (ink’n rubba), Katharina and Marlene all fantastic crafters who never minded answering all the questions I used to throw at them, I was hooked. Now I bet you are wondering where this reminiscing is leading, well this morning I received a fantastic e-mail (it actually brought tears to my eyes) from a lovely lady (you know who you are), who thanked me for the inspiration I had given her, it just made me realise what a truly fantastic place the card making blogging world is and how much I had gained from that first visit to Dawny P’s blog, 100’s of new friends from around the world, working for 2 fantastic companies, Lili of the Valley, Crafters Companion, demoing at Shows where I meet such sweet like minded people and also the chance of having my work published in magazines. I feel really bad that all this has now eaten into my blogging time and I know I am very naughty in leaving comments, (I promise I do visit blogs still though), but I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who visit me and to thank the girls who inspired me to start my own blog.
Todays card is one I made for Quick Cards made Easy, which is on sale now so its OK to show it, I am afraid I made it so long ago I cannot remember which Copics I used.
I have used the Lili of the Valley Image “Little Holly” to make this little rocker card, the papers are from Nitwits Collections, the scalloped circles have been cut with Nesties and Go-Kreate dies. The greeting is also a stamp from the Lili of the Valley Christmas Circular Sentiment stamp set, The swirl is a Doo Hickey Die from Crafts U Love and I have added lots of stickles.
Have a lovely Saturday

Lili of the Valley Challenge
Morning all, thank goodness that horrible wind has died down and its a bit warmer today hope it lasts. I wonder how many of you have made a good start on your Christmas Cards already, theres only about 14 weeks to go for the big day , if you haven’t made a start yet our Theme this week on Lili of the Valley Challenge may give you a kick start, its a colour challenge RED, GREEN and WHITE just perfect for Christmas, and there is some wonderful inspiration from the Design Team.
This is my card for the Challenge, I have used Lili of the Valley “Christmas Snooze” for this one. The papers are from Nitwits Collections, if ever you are struggling to find a matching paper for your card, I would recommend that you visit Nitwits Collections I find it a gold mine for backing papers and can always find a set to match and with the paper packs being so reasonable it doesn’t cost a lot to build up a library of papers.
Lots of Dies used for this card, Nesties, Marianne Star Ribbon Border, available from Crafts U Love, and Stars are a Die-namics Die from Dies to Die for.
Have a lovely day

Start of a new week and a new school year, Good Luck to all your little ones who are starting school today, and also to those who are moving up to Secondary School, I can still remember the fear I felt on my first day at Secondary School.
Well girls not long to wait now before you can have the pleasure of playing with the delightful new Lili of the Valley Christmas Release, in fact just over 12 hours, if you can wait up till midnight. So as a treat for you I am going to give you 2 sneak peeks today!!! don’t get too excited
The First card is made using “Three Little Angels”
Lots of Distressing on this one, I carefully tore around the edges of two layer of Magnolia Papers from my scrap box and distressed with Distress Ink, I used a Nellie Sneden Corner die on the bottom layer of paper, and tucked a die cut label behind the image. Didn’t have small enough pearls for the effect I wanted so used Opal Liquid Pearls, the image was coloured with Copics.
Copics Used:
Flesh: R02, E00, E000, Hair: E71, E70, E40, Dresses: R85, R83, R81, RV000, RV0000

The papers are from First Edition paper Pad – Festive Treats. 3 lengths of ribbon have been threaded through the matted image and secured at the back at the top and bottom, I added Sticky Buds to the back of the image to keep it in place. The stars are die cuts and I have just added oddles of Silver glitter to them.

A Beary Merry Christmas–Sneak Peek
Guess what its another Lili of the Valley Sneak Peek for you, I am trying to showcase as many as I can for you before the release on the 6th September. This little Darling is called “Christmas Bear – Sledge”.
Nitwits Collection papers have been used again, these are from Joyful Hearts, and if you pop over to the Nitwits Website now you will find this collection is in the fabulous sale, unbelievable prices on lots of gorgeous collection, it would be a shame if you missed them.
The large snowflake is cut with a Marianne Designs Die from Crafts U Love and the Stars are cut with a Die-Namics Die from Dies to Die for, both have been distressed with Victorian Velvet DI and covered with Crystal Glamour Dust also available from Crafts U Love. I have used my fav Martha Stewart Border Punch around the outside of the Card and a sentiment from Lili of the Valley Christmas Circular Sentiment stamp set has been stamped on to a pre-cut Label.
I have popped a little Tea Bag Christmas Tree onto the bottom of the card to add a bit of interest. If you would like to make one of these cute Trees I have popped a tutorial on the Lili of the Valleys Ideas to Inspire blog, I will add it to my tutorial blog later today.
Have a great Sunday
