Party Time

Good Morning all, The new Humphrey release seems to have wetted your appetite, at least you will not have it wait long to get your hands on him,  but to keep you going todays Sneak Peek card is using my favourite ever Humphrey,

hump5

What a fantastic card he will make for any little boy, I actually have a phobia about clowns and have never been to a circus because of them but who could be scared of dear little Humphrey.

The papers used are from the original Humphreys Corner Crafting Collection CD – (the Allsorts Disk), they matched the image perfectly.  I have stamped and coloured the image with Memento Ink on Neenah Classic Card and Spectrum Noirs all available from Crafters Companion.

Spectrum Colours used:

Trousers, Hat: TB5, TB4, TB3, TB2,

Humphrey is Back in Town

Good news for all you Humphrey Lovers out there, Crafters Companion  will be launching a brand new Release of your favourite  little elephant very soon, and to get the ball rolling the Design Team will be showing Sneak Peeks all week.  The release includes an Interactive CD full of Sally Hunters wonderful artwork , embellies, card blanks etc  and 12 new stamps covering every month of the Year, you are going to love them all.

Humphrey launches on Create and Craft  Sunday 22nd at 2pm and the shows are 2pm & 5pm, then Monday 9am, 11am, 6pm.

helloa

My first sneak peeks has used one of the new Stamps, and paper from the original Humphreys Corner Crafting Collection CD, isn’t that Duck just the sweetest.  I have stamped and coloured the image on Neenah Classic Card and Spectrum Noirs, I have tried to keep my samples quite simple for this release I want to draw your attention to the fantastic Images rather than the embellies.

Hello

The Spectrum Noir colours used:

Greys: IG2, IG1

Oranges: OR3, OR2, OR1

Greens: CG4, CG3

Had a fantastic 2 days at Alexandra Palace, meet lots of friends and made many new ones, what made it even better was the interest and excitement shown by visitors to the Spectrum Noir Colouring System.  It is so good when a demonstrator has products they believe in to work with, and it also helps when they generate excitement and  most of all are affordable.

Ship Ahoy

Morning Peeps, just had my new washing machine delivered, had great fun plumbing it in, couldn’t find a 10mm spanner to undo the Transit Bolts for a start, had to pop round to the neighbour and borrow his, once I had got the bolts off , I pushed and shoved the machine into the space beside the Sink and found the waste pipe would not reach the down pipe so had to get a taxi down to B&Q to get some spare pipe and an adaptor.  Anyway its in and connected and I am running it through the wash cycle to test it now, keep your fingers crossed I don’t go downstairs to a kitchen full of water.

I seem to have fallen in love with Tilda all over again, after a few months of not really having the urge to stamp one up now I cannot stop.  I could kick myself for not buying the New Spring Kit, I will have to go and trawl e-bay to see if anyone has a set to sell, the images from the set I have seen so far are fabulous.

A Little Tilda and some Visitor Candy

Morning, hope you are all looking forward to a good weekend break,  I hope to be spending tomorrow with family so will be taking it easy today to reserve my strength for all those boys and Lucy is just as active and noisy as them,  as you can imagine with 4 sons and 6 grandsons a little girl was eagerly awaited, I was dreaming of all those sweet dresses, playing with dolls, dressing up  and sharing my crafting with a grand-daughter but no Lucy prefers jeans, Lego and fighting to any silly girls games, but never mind I she is still a darling and when I think about it how would I cope with a girlie girl.

jma

This week on Just Magnolia & hAnglar and stAnglar Challenge it is Anything Goes, I love it when I can choose whatever I want, we are sponsored by the Lovely Heidi from Simon Says Stamp with a $25 voucher to spend in the store.

So sorry I cleared up my Pens before I had made a note of the numbers.

When I was tidying up my Magnolia Stamps the other day I found I had a number of doubles (serves me right for being such an untidy housekeeper) so I thought I would offer them as candy during the month, this is the first one, unused and still in its packaging is all you need to do is leave a comment and Mum will pick a winner on Sunday.

So if you would like to add this stamp to your Magnolia Collection just leave a comment below, best of luck.

Easter Wishes

Morning peeps, cannot believe I have not blogged for the last 3 days where does the time go, I even forgot it is Easter this Weekend so thought I had better get down to making family Easter Cards.

easter

I decided to make a little Easter basket to go with the card, the details of how to make this quick and easy basket are on  my Tutorial Blog click here to go direct to instructions.  I must find some easy way to store my Tildas I now have so many it took ages to find these 3 stamps, one day I will be a tidy crafter and put everything in its right place, instead of just throwing it on the Floor, Table or any handy surface.

easter1

I have used Magnolia Doo Hickey Dies, Fence, Leaves and Swirl, and also the fabulous Pion papers Fairytale of Spring collection.  I coloured the images Copics on Neenah Classic card, then cut out Tilda to sit in front of the basket of eggs.

easter3

The same papers have been used on the basket, with a stamped coloured & cut out bunny again a Magnolia Stamp.   The basket is filled with Iced gingerbread eggs.

Thanks for looking
