Tilda & Friends - May Celebrations
Todays Challenge was May Celebrations - It cheered me up making this one as the weather is so awful outside, doing an ATC with a Summer theme was lovely. I have used the Magnolia Background Stamp and Tilda with Balloon stamps, but cut them down to fit the ATC. It has all been coloured with Watercolour Pencils and Marvey Marker pens and added Crystal glitter to her wings, socks nd Sun rays. The colours are not to clear on the photo and the grass looks vey blue, it is green I promise. Must get some lessons in photography Thanks for looking

Magnolia Delivery
I had a delivery from Magnolia this afternoon and couldn't wait to use them, I love them all so much had to use 4 stamps, don't you think this stamp is sweet. It is coloured with watercolour pens & pencils, the background paper is from Basic Grey "Infuse" collection, ribbons and flowers from Poppicraft also the lovely brad. Poppicraft have some lovely new ribbon in, and the brads are so unusual, cannot recommend them enough.
Papertake Challenge - Elegant Embossing
This weeks challenge was to use embossing - either Dry or heat - I have chosen to use both. My little Tilda is sitting on the letter B which has been embossed twice with Cosmic Shimmer UTEP,in Raspberry Blue, then I dry stamped into the hot Emossing Powder. She is coloured with watercolour pens. The backing paper is from Basic Grey. Flowers and Ribbons are from Poppycraft. The flourishes are cut on the Cuttlebug - a new cutting folder called Harlequins and Flourishes.

I am going to Derby this weekend to attend a workshop held by Jayne Nestorenko, as it was inspiration from Jayne that got me into card making, being an avid cross sticher before, I am really looking forward to it. It also gives me 2 days break from caring for Mum which sounds a bit unkind, but when you live with someone with Altzhimers you need a break now and again and I have not been away from home since September.
Since I found blogging I feel as if I am among friends it has been a fantastic first 3 weeks blogging and can I thank everyone who has visited my blog and left such lovely comments, and also thank you all for the inspiration I get from you all, there are so many talented people out there. Dont you think we are lucky findng such a rewarding hobby, welll have a good weekend everyone

This stamp is one of my most used ones, its by Whipper snapper, the image has been coloured with watercolour pens, the backing papers are some Basic Grey that I had in my scrap box layered on to pink and then brown card. The Papertake callenge this week was quite daunting, but got there in the end. I used a Magnolia Stamp, of course, the four papers were from Paper Preserves, I loved the shades of pink & mauve, the sentiment came from a Funky Hands cd, flowers, lace and ribbons from stash. Tilda has been coloured with watercolour pens and waterbrush in pale lilac and her wings and petticoat have been glittered with stickles, the ribbon is pale lilac but the colour is not very clear in the phot, and has been layered on lace

She is coloured with Tombow pens and waterbrush, with glitter on her wings and dress, which is not clear on the photo. The papers are again from Funky Hands CD, the pale blue paper and dark blue swirl are cut and embossed on the cuttlebug flowers and ribbon from my stash box, The sentiment was typed on the computer and edged with a blue ink pad. Cute Card Thursday - It's a Mans World
Hate doing Mens cards, don't know why, anyway I tried. The stamp was from a set by Woodware, I forgot that I had it, it was coloured with distress inks, the papers and sentiments were all taken from Funky Hands CD, and the beer can and brad were from my stash, ribbons of course were from Poppicraft, where else. I am a bit late posting this, my excuse is that the cards etc I made for Crafters Compaion CD Launch today were featured on C&C and of course I had to watch.

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge - Wet and Windy
I found this one a bit of a challenge - excuse the pun- I did not want to use the obvious stamps so this is what I came up with, sorry about the picture quality the colous have not come out too well, will have try to take another one later. I stippled the background with chalk eyes and stamped small tulip grass on glossy card. Th post is a cocktail stick. I coloured teddy in light tan tombows, sentiment was typed on word and edged with chalk eyes. The lovely peg with ladybird was from Joanna Sheen.

Bling! I love it. This stamp was the first I ever bought after seeing Jayne Nestorenko on C & C, havn't used it for ages forgot how much I like it. I heat embossed Gold detail on acetate, then glittered with Fire Engine Red and Sunset from Sparkle'nSprinkle glitters and layered them. The backing papers are from Damask Delights from Artylicous CD , the sentiment was from elusive images, the brad is from Poppycraft. I loved doing this card.
