A Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge

Our Very own Debbie has created a fabulous sketch for this weeks challenge, and ,y fellow Dt Divas have come up with some fantastic creations, so we do hope you will join us this week, we also have a great prize donated by Silly Monkey Crafts for one lucky person, so just click Here to get started on this weeks challenge.

I am having one of those horrible weeks, I don't know why, but I am feeling really down and am finding it a real struggle to do anything and I am just not satisfied with either of my creations today, I hate weeks like this, I would just like to curl up in my bed and sleep. Anyway sorry to put that on you, thought I had better explain why my cards are not up to my usual standard.

I received a lovely DT parcel from Nikki of Bunny Zoes Craft, and it include this fabulous little Mermaid from CC designs and lots of other lovely goodies, thanks Nikki, the papers, a mixture of My Minds Eye and DCWV were also in the parcel and are available from the shop. I have coloured the image with Copics as usual.

Recipe:
Stamp CC Designs from Bunny Zoes Craft
Colouring Medium - Copics
Papers - DCVW and Mt Minds Eye from Bunny Zoes Craft
Embellies - Flowers - Wild Orchid Craft rest from stash.

Just Magnolia Monthly Challenge

Our Challenge this month was set by out very own fantastic Rach, to make A PAPER BAG CARD, I think all our hearts sunk when we saw this challenge but the DT have come up with some fantastic stunning creations that put my effort to shame, but I hope to use this idea again after seeing all of their creations. These paper bags can be bought from Crafts U Love and many other on line stores and you could also reuse your Chemist prescription bags if you are frugal.

Heidi from Simon Says Stamps is the Sponsor each month for Just Magnolia Monthly Challenge and their is a fabulous Gift Voucher to Spend in Shop waiting for one lucky winner. Hope you will come and join us in this great challenge, cannot wait to see your Paper Bag Cards.

Unfortunately my Summer Kit from Magnolia never arrived and I was lucky to have been sent some images to complete this challenge, I am so disappointed I did not receive this kit as it is one of the best they have produced. All the images are coloured with Copics on SU Whisper White.

The papers are a Nitwits download, and all the extra images are Magnolia Stamps. I wanted to give this card a summer holiday look as my idea is too make CD's of our Holiday snaps this year and give each of the boys & their family a copy, I am hoping they will think it a good keepsake.

Here is the CD and its case.

Recipe:
Stamps - Magnolia available from Simon Says Stamps
Papers - Nit Wits Collections
Tools - Nesties for CD Label
Colouring Medium - Copics on SU Whisper White Card
Embellies - Buttons from Bunny Zoes Crafts, rest from stash

Thanks for looking
Hugs
Jacqui xx

Hi Jacqui, I'm sorry you're having a bad week and understand how hard it is to try to pull yourself out of a 'funk'. Take care :)

I can't believe you didn't get your kit :( I have an order in for other Tildas but they still have not arrived.. I'm hoping it's just because Magnolia are so busy with Summer Kit orders :S Maybe we'll both get them this week *fingers crossed*

Love both of your projects. The mermaid card is so pretty and pink!! A girl can't have too much pink ;) Beautiful card.

Your paperbag project is just awesome!! And the theme is brilliant. Love the idea of the CD (must *erm* lift that, lol).

I do hope you're feeling better soon.
