Whiff of Joy - Project of the Month - A Gift for a New Baby
I still haven't had the energy or inspiration to make a card, but sitting here feeling sorry for myself is not going to make things better, so I have decided to try to get back into the swing. I completed this project last week and at the time I was pleased with how it turned out I just love the soft colours, they suit Elizabeths wonderful Images perfectly.
The image is the beautiful Willow with Toddler from Whiff of Joys Elizabeth Bell's Wedding and baby Collection, she has been coloured with Distress Inks (Tattered Rose, Shabby Shutters, Tea Dye, Antique Linen, Dried Marigold). I distressed the edges of the Oval with Dried Marigold Distressed Ink, The flowers have been sprayed with PEARL Glimmer Mist then I have painted around the petals with GOLD Perfect Pearls. The papers are from the gorgeous Nanas Nursery pack from DCWV.
I found the instructions for this little treat box Here, after making it I wish I had enlarged the dimensions given but I had no more paper so it had to do. The papers are again Nanas Nursery, I have punched around the lid with a MS Border Punch and added a little flat back pearl to the centre of each little flower.
The sentiment is from the same Whiff of Joy collection as the image and has been cut with Oval nesties and 3d'd onto the lid.
I have used the same image 3d'd onto the back of the Box,
Finally the Gift and Card together hope you like them, of course I will be giving them to Lucy!!!!

These are stunning. Yoyur card is beautiful , and yes the lovely soft colours do work so lovely with the stamps.
I have have done one of these boxes too, aint they fab. Perfect for the pooch to sit in.
