Truly Scrumptious Challenge

009a

Another Challenge I have entered 2 in one week a record!! and what a brilliant sketch it is on Truly Scrumptious this week, perfect for showing off another of the lovely Lili of the Valley Baby Fairy images .

009

Today I have “Dandelion Clock” for you she has been coloured with copics, and has Liquid Pearls, Polar White Flowersoft and Glitter added.  The Papers are a Nitwit download called   “Butterfly Kisses” , The Lace and Ribbon are from Wild Orchid Craft, and the sentiment is from the New Lili of the Valley Releases.

I decided to use punched flowers for a change, (it is a big wrench not to use my normal lovely roses etc), the flowers have been punched from the same backing papers with a Medium and small Retro Flower Punch, I have used a ball to0l to shape them, then added some of Wild Orchid Crafts Flat Backed Pearls.  The filigree corner is from Panduro.

009b

  Copics Used: Flesh E21, E00, E000, Hair, Y32, YR21, Wings, Shoes & Petticoat R83, R81, RV000, RV0000, Skirt B95, B93m B91.

Woke up freezing this morning, checked the radiators stone cold, then checked the boiler to find it has broken down, so I am off to find a decent heating engineer now, must get it done before the snow thats forecast for later this week.

Sketch Saturday Challenge

Fairy1a

Wow cannot believe I am actually entering a challenge it must be the first in a few weeks, I have always found that if I am stuck for ideas Sketch Saturday is bound to come up trumps and it has today.

Fairy1

Another sneak peek for you from Lili of the Valley's January 2011 release this is one of the four gorgeous Little Fairies and she is called “Birthday Fairy” isn’t she wonderful.  The papers are from Memory Box Gossamer Paper Pad available from Quixotic Paperie, one of my favourite pads.  The sentiment is also from LOTV new release.  I have used Stardust Stickles around the edges of the Nestie Mats and Sentiment, but being impatient I took the piccie before it had dried so it looks a bit blobby, but it is fine IRL now.

Fairy3

I took this picture so you can see the Cherry Blossom, 10mm Roses and Rosebuds from Wild Orchid Crafts properly.  The Flat Back Pearls are from The Hobby House.

003a

I am still finding it an effort to craft, my energy levels are at zero, luckily I had this gorgeous Tilda coloured up from a few weeks ago so although I am very late at least I managed to make my DT card this week.

Tilda has been coloured with Copics (forgot  the numbers sorry), I have used  one of my new Go Kreate nestie dies stamped and glittered to sit Tilda on,  if you have just bought a Grand Calibur you really need to go and visit Go Kreate they are selling Extra Large Dies at a fraction of the cost of Spellbinders and they cut and emboss beautifully, I am really impressed.  The paper is from Magnolias Christmas Collection available at Crafts U Love .  The Glittered snowflakes have been punched with Martha Stewart Punch as has the Snowflake Border, Ribbon and Cherry Blossom from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I have been asked where I get my Laser Cut Butterflies and corners here are the links Butterflies, Corners , hope this helps

My Favourite theme this week on a Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge “ANYTHING GOES”  so come on girls let those creative juices run wild and come and join us .

It was really hard to get started on crafting yesterday and I didn’t think I would  have a card for you today, then I remembered I had some new delightful images to show you from Lili of the Valley and the card nearly made itself.  When these images arrived from Lili of the Valley I just fell in love and couldn’t wait for the go ahead to show them.   This new range of fabulous stamps with these stunning fairies by Molly Harrison  will shortly be available from the Lili of the Valley  website, we haven’t got a release date yet but will let you know on here as soon as we have.   To put your minds at rest this does not mean we will be saying goodbye to Rosie, James the Bear and the rest of your favourite LOTV cuties theres still lots more of them to come.

MH2

I am not sure I have done justice to this little one, my MOJO must have caught my infection as he was not working 100% yesterday, I coloured the image with Copics (Colours below) and added lots of Glamour Dust to her wings, the carefully cut her out as I wanted to give some movement to her wings.  I placed her on the  largest Nestie Beaded Circle, and just distressed the edges with Dusty Concord Distress Ink.  The paper is by Magnolia and the flowers and ribbons are by Wild Orchid Crafts.   I have used die cut Butterflies and Corner from Panduro.

Thank You, LOTV Winner and a couple of belated cards

Sorry for my absence for the last week and thank you for all the e-mails I received asking if I was OK.   I had a rotten Chest Infection and couldn’t get upstairs to my PC so although I had been very good and got the weeks DT cards done  by the weekend I  haven’t been able to post them, worst of all I couldn’t post my LOTV Candy Winner, I am still tired so not sure if I will be making any cards for the next few days.  Now the apologies and explanations are dealt with I had better give the name of my Lili of the Valley Candy Winner.

No 129 – Aussie Loz   can  you please e-mail me Here dear so I can get the Calendar Stamp sent to you.

LOTV1a

The First of my delayed cards is for the Lili of The Valley Challenge  where this weeks challenge is Glitter and Glitz.

LOTV1

All the Glitter is rather muted in my Photo, although I have used lots of it, the image is Lili of the Valley It’s my Party, I did make a note of the Copics I used on this and my Just Magnolia card but Can I find the Post It with the numbers on, of course not!!!!!! sorry.    I have cut the doyley with a Marianne Die from Quixotic Paperie, and have cut it in half to fit behind the image.  The paper is from BudsnBlossom Nitwits download kit, and the fantastic sentiment is a stamp from Dies to Die For.  The Flowers, Pearls, Hearts and  Ribbon are all from Wild Orchid Crafts, I have edged the flowers Image and Sentiment with Stardust Stickles.

LOTV1b

Now for my Just Magnolia Card.

Jacb

Our challenge for you this week on Just Magnolia Challenge  is White and One other Colour, sounds a bit daunting but once you get down to it not as scarry as it seems, just check out the DT cards, they are just fabulous.

Jac

I have already used this sweet Tilda this week but I just love her and she was just right for this challenge.  I cut the Sentiment Circle with one of my new nesties and stamped the image with Memento Ink, then I stamped around the image with a Magnolia Snowflake stamped inked with Fired Earth Distress Ink, once I had finished colouring Tilda ,  I used a Glue Pen and Glamour Dust to add sparkle to the stamped Snowflakes.   The paper, which has been distressed with Scissors and  Fired Earth D,   is from  Magnolias Christmas Collection from Crafts U Love, I have cut two different lengths of lace to put behind the image and also cut a Label using Nesties to just poke behind the image, I have actually stamped Merry Christmas on the label  but forgot to take a piccie, (the label does pull out).  The Flowers and lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Jaca

If I find my Post It note I will add the Copic Colours later.
