Hi Ho! Hi Ho! its Off to Work we Go

As soon as I saw this new Christmas Tilda I thought of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, you know the part I mean when the Dwarfs go off to work, then the blooming song came into mind and stayed there all day.

Friday1

I have used 2 new Magnolia Christmas Stamps today, The Church Background and Tilda with Axe, they have both been coloured with Copics & Pencils, The papers are also from the new Magnolia Paper release.  I used Flowersoft on teh trees and for the snow, but I think my glue must have dried up a bit as I am not pleased with how it looks, seems very sparse to me.I tucked a bit of cheesecloth fabric behind the image.

Tis the Season

Afternoon all, every post I do lately is a quick one, there are never enough hours in the day.  Cannot believe the weather this week on Tuesday Myself my Aunt & Cousin took a bit of a break from all the arrangements and went for lunch at our Local Pub on the river –The Grove Ferry Inn – it was such fab weather, warm and sunny, that we were even able to sit outside beside the river, and here we are 2 days later grey pouring with rain and blooming cold.  We had a fabulous lunch we shared a very large seafood platter it was just yummy.

Thursday

Received my new Tildas and Magnolia Papers from Bunny Zoes Craft yesterday and just had to have a go at colouring one of the images at least, I am sure you will agree that this Tilda with her reindeer is a stunning stamp, just take a look at the new Christmas papers from Magnolia, I think the best yet.

I have also used my new card blank set from Which Craft  - Vintage Step Card – another fabulous product from Paula, I have used one of the new  Christmas Grungy Messages from Lili of the Valley in the corner, what do you think of my Pearl Centre from Live and Love Crafts.

Ho Ho Ho!!!!!

I am in a world of my own here, don’t know where the morning has gone I thought it was about midday then heard the Archers Music and realised it was past 2pm, so I really late with this post.

Winterwonderland1

Todays card is made with one of the first Christmas Stamps I ever bought, and he comes out year after year, in fact it wouldn’t be Christmas without him, he is by Stamps Happen and I think he has the jolliest face of any Farther Christmas Stamp I own, I have coloured him with Copics  and added Liquid Pearls around the image.  The papers are from my stash and the berries are a mixture of bits and pieces I already had and some I bought from Anne Marie Designs.
Lots of my favs on this card the gorgeous lush ribbon from The Ribbon Girl, Snowflake Die amd Doo Hickey Vintage Swirl.

Do you like my new Watermark, I got it from Whimsey’s Custom Set Watermark and Signature Combo, only $5 dollars it was with me the next day complete with very good instructions on how to download, resize and add to your cards.
Thats it for now

Happy 5th Birthday to Papertake Weekly Challenge

Morning all, I was asked by the lovely Dawny P to join Papertake Weekly Challenge  as a Special Guest designer, along with members of the Original Design Team, for their special 5th Birthday Celebration, I was so honoured to be asked so of course I said Yes, Papertake was the first ever Challenge I entered.  What a celebration this is they have been sponsored by so many very kind sponsors including Simon Says Stamp, Lili of the Valley, The Ribbon Girl, Sir Stampalot, Saturated Canary, Which Craft UK, Nitwits, J & C Creations, Whiff of Joy and 2 of the DT have give aways of their own.
I think you’ll agree that there are some amazing prizes up for grabs this week :)

But where are these prizes?
Well they are all hidden amongst our blogs and there is a prize at every stop but who has what is a secret and we will reveal all next week.
So all you need to do to be in with a chance of winning one is to make a card for the challenge as usual and then  to stop by and visit us all and leave us a comment  – be sure not to leave anyone out because that person  could have the prize you would most like to win. It isn't in any particular order and I’ll list the blogs at the end to make it easier for you.

I have used another of Jayne Nestorenkos new Christmas Stamps which will be released next weekend for my card, this stamp is called POINSETTIA,

Copic Poinsettia

A very plain card for me, but the image did all the work, I stamped the image out 4 times and after colouring built up the layers, just like Jaynes original Medallion cards, the gorgeous Gold Ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl, and I have cut the gold border from Memory Box  Frosty Border Die.
Don’t forget to visit every blog listed below as we all have a prize,  here’s the list of everybody taking part -
