Sorry I am late posting my card for this week, had a lovely day with the Grandchildren yesterday, but it as very tiring and I fell straight to sleep as soon as I got home, makes me realise I am not as young as I used to be.

Tilda has been coloured with Distress Inks, the papers are all Basic Grey, the hearts and circles have all been cut with Nesties. I have distressed all the edges of the Papers and the image with Antique Linen DI. Everything else from stash. I didn't think I would really like these colours together but am really pleased with the result and will use this colour combo again.

I have carried the heart theme and the papers onto the inside of the card.

Ring a Ring of Roses

Great sketch again on Sketch Saturday and a lovely prize of 2 of Sandra Drys Great Stamps donated by the Craft Barn.

I'm in two minds about this card, not sure if the blue is right!!! Anyway its done and posted now so it will have to do. The papers are again from my Stash and I haven't been able to decorate the inside as I used all the scraps on the front. That's another reason for not being satisfied with it. The Rose Circle stamp is from Alota, and comes on a sheet of 6 different flower frames, (there are some great Easter frames on the sheet), Tilda and the frame have been coloured with copics,I was hoping to have my Copics Airbrush by now but am still waiting, so i had to colour the blue background with Prisma Pencils and Sansodor. Flowers and charm from stash. Sentiment is a SU stamp and the red heart has been cut from a tiny piece of scrap paper.

Your So Sweet and A Welsh Dragon

High Hopes Challenge

There is a another great sketch by
Katharina this week on High Hopes Challenge, I am sure that you like me always enjoy working with Katharinas sketches and this one doesn't disappoint. They have also got a Guest Dt call out. There is also a big new release of High Hopes stamps due this week :))

This lovely High Hopes patchwork Angel is coloured with copics, the little patches embellishment and sentiment are also High Hopes Stamps. The papers are by daisy Bucket, I have nearly run out of these now and will be sad when they have gone I love this mix of colour.

The papers are carried onto the inside and of course MSDP had to be used.

Whiff of Joy - Medieval Stamps

Another sneak peak for you of the new Whiff of Joy - Alison Acton Medieval Stamps to be released on 14th February.

This cute Dragon is ideal for a card for St Davids Day (for those who don't know St David is the Patron Saint of Wales and his special day is on 1st March, and the national Emblem of Wales is the Red Dragon), My Maternal Grandfather was named Evan Evans so there is certainly some Welsh in my Family, and we do celebrate St Davids Day, this Dragon is also apt because Wales are doing really well in the 6 Nations Rugby at the moment COME ON CYMRU (Wales). The sentiment says St Davids Day in Welsh. I have coloured my Dragon with copics, the papers are from the DCVW Once Upon a Time Pad.

I Have called the Whiff of Joy Knight Llewellyn the last Prince of Wales, he has again been coloured with Copics. Do I give the impression of being proud of my Celtic Roots, well I am I have Welsh on one side and Cornish on the other cannot get more Celtic than that.

Don't forget its is not necessary to use Lili of The Valley Products, we just enjoy seeing your creations, although we are getting lots more cards using the products now, so perhaps you are getting to love them as much as we are.

The LOTV Rocking Horse stamp has been coloured with Copics, then cut and 3d on to blue card that has been run through the Cuttlebug in the Swiss Dots folder. The Papers are Imaginise. Swirls were cut on Cricut with Home Accents Cartridge. Buttons and Ribbon from stash.

The sentiment and Bottle have been cut with the Cricut New Arrival Cartridge.

Sometimes I amaze myself with how thick I can be, This card was supposed to be for this week challenge on Magnolia vs Stampavie, somehow I managed to use the wrong sketch Doh!!!!!!! But I like the card so decided to show it anyway.

Tilda is sitting on her steps hoping the postman will be bring her a card from You Know Who :), lets hope he remembered. These yummy papers are Cosmo Cricket, I have distressed the edges of the paper with Distressing Tool and coloured the edge with Antique Linen Distress Ink. The Heart Corners are a Sizzix Die, the lovely Charm is from Rach, Rest from stash.

The inside is quite plain again but the papers speak for themselves.

Chick a dee and another sneak peek

Our Challenge this week is

Doodle Doo

We would love to see some doodling on your cards. This could be hand drawn or if you have scrolls and swirl stamps you can also use these.

We have a great prize this week of the cute PCS Kiki Kitty stamp set which has been kindly donated by Bryony owner of Silly Monkey Crafts. Silly Monkey Crafts have a fabulous range of Pink Cat Studio stamps in stock including the new Lily and Billy Sweethearts. So come on over and join us on
A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge

Another chance to use another of the lovely new Elzabeth Bell stamps from Sugar Nellies, not only have I doodled round the edge of the card (faux stitching) but I thought it actually marched the challenge by having a chicken on the image. I have coloured the image with Distress Inks, and distressed the edges of the yummy K&Co papers I made the flowers to match by roughly water colouring card with the same inks and punching with the retro punch, added a bit of gold Glimmer Mist for a bit of sparkle.

Used the same papers inside with some more punched flowers

The winner will we chosen by random.org on February 16th SO DON'T DELAY GO AND VISIT KATHARINA NOW TO BE SURE OF HAVING A CHANCE TO WIN THESE FABULOUS STAMPS.

This is my first card with the new stamps, it was a very quick card and I am not sure if I am pleased with it ( I now wish I had used plainer paper) but just wanted you to have another preview of these fabulous stamps. They are so different from Alison's other stamps and I don't think there are many like this out there.
Princess Charlotte has been coloured with Copics, the Banner is another stamp from the collection and has also been coloured with copics, the Castle is a die cut from Sizzix. The papers are from Imaginise, I only had a few scraps of this paper left so the castle is positioned higher then I would like it to have been but I wanted to have the stagecoach in the doorway of the castle. The Sentiment is also from Whiff of Joy, and will be available soon. I have stamped Princess Charlotte twice and 3d her skirt panniers, bodice and head.

A close up of Princess Charlotte and the 3d of the castle and charlotte.

The inside of the card, another stamp from the Medieval Collection has been used here, the cute Castle, isn't it great.

Don't forget go and check Katharina's blog, and keep checking back for more previews.
