I received my wonderful DT package from Wild Orchid Crafts this week and inside were the most delicious Hellebores, I just couldn't wait to give you a Sneak Peek as I know you are going to just want to own some of these. You may take a double take when you see todays cards, as I have used the same papers and colours on both, I loved the colour scheme so much but I also wanted to get a couple of DT cards up here today and withthe papers and copics being on my desk it was the quickest way!!!.
My First card I a going to enter for Friday Sketchers this week where there is a stunning sketch by Claudia Rosa (its perfect dear xxxx). The papers are from the Christmas Magnolia Collection from Crafts U Love they are yummy. The Snowflakes are also from Crafts U Love and are a Magnolia Doo Hickey Die set that also comes with Mistletoe Die which you will see on the next card. I have Distressed the edges of the snowflakes with Spun Sugar Distress Ink, then I used two Magnolia Snowflake Stamps and Spun Sugar to make a background which I then went over with Glue Pen and Crystal Glamour Dust.
Here is a close up of the Pink Edged Hellebore I have used 10mm Roses, Rosebuds, and Crystals all from Wild Orchid Crafts. The Hellebores will be available on the website from Monday, wouldn’t want to be in Paul and Siris shoes on Monday as I am sure the website will go mad and they will have lots and lots of packing up to do.
Of course the awesome stamp used is from Lili of the Valley Christmas Collection and is called “Dropping the Shopping”
The Copics used on this and the card below are:
Flesh: E21, E00. E000
Coat: B01, B00, B0000
Doggie and Bag C2, C1, C00
My Next Card is again using a Lili of the Valley Stamp Skating Along, another of my favourites, No to be honest every single Lili of the Valley stamp is my favourite!!! This card is going to be entered for Sketch Saturday Challenge
Most of the card uses the same products as the one above, except for the Snowflake which is a large Martha Stewart Punch, I have used a plain White Hellebore on here and have added Stardust Glitter around the edge of the petals, photo hasn’t picked this up very well. I have used Twinklets for the snow, and the fabulous Mistletoe, which I have distressed with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink is a Magnolia Doo Hickey Christmas Die.
You could have a chance to own some of these Hellebores you need to check the Wild Orchid Crafts Blogs this evening when Bev will be posting some delicious Candy
Have a great weekend and enjoy your extra hours sleep
Hugs
Jacqui xxxx
