Lili of the Valley Challenge

Morning All,  hope all those of you in the UK are enjoying this Indian Summer, make the most of it, I heard on the news last night that we are in for the worst winter on record and could even get snow in October!!!!! Smile

We have a new challenge posted today on Lili of the Valley Challenge our theme this week is “Button It “ and Lili of the Valley have donated a £15 voucher so do hope you can come and join us.

I was discussing using Distress Inks for colouring with a couple of friends at the weekend and I realised how much I had missed using them since I started to colour with Markers, so yesterday I got my DI’s out and had a go, it was not as easy as I thought to pick up again think I need a bit more practise, but it was really enjoyable to have a paintbrush in my hands again.

I have used one of last years Bunny Christmas stamps for this card, the Distress Inks used to colour him are: Fur Tea Die, Red Carn Door, Green Peeled Paint, Bird House Brushed Corduroy, Sack Frayed Burlap.

The paper is  from my Christmas Scrap Paper Box so not sure who it is by.  The awesome Gold Net Ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl as are the Hat Pins and Buttons, and I have used a Prima Rose in the middle of the bow.

Have a lovely day all

Hugs

Jacqui, please don`t spoil the moment with snow talk!Although knowing our weather i`m not surprised.Having a naff summer,we get a week of lovely sunshine and warmth and then to pay for it we get snow and cold!Never mind should be used to it by now.
Your card is stunning and if i could colour as good as you with DI`s or markers i would be chuffed with this result!
Gorgeous image, teamed with beautiful papers and embellies.
Enjoy the rest of the sun, take care,Kelly.

What a great card, I love the papers you used, I wouldn't concern yourself with the weather woes, they can't predict with accuracy more than 3 days ahead. Laura

Hunny, it could be the worst winter ever but I'll bet there still won't be enough snow to stop the bus getting me to work :-( Loving your card hun, good to see you using the DIs again, after all, it was you that inspired me to take them up, and NO, you don't need practice, this is simply perfect.
