Thanks for all your good wishes, unfortunately we are still awaiting our little pink bundle, after staying in the hosptal most of the night Vikkis pains started to get further apart as she is not due until Monday they sent us home to await further developments, she is still getting pains every 20 mins or so and has been all day, poor thing :(. The midwife assured us that this is quite common with second babies a long 1st stage which can go on for a couple of days but usually the 2nd and 3rd stages are quick, I hope so for poor Vikki she is so tired now. I am back at their house now as the last bus from here to Margate leaves at 9pm and like most babies I am sure she will come during the night. I have got a live in carer for Mum for the next 3 days so I can stay here without worrying.
I have sheduled my Penny Black Dt card for tomorrow morning so there should be something for you to view. Thanks again its nice to know there are good friends out there rooting for you

Friday Fun
Just Magnolia Challenge
First of all an apology, I meant to get around to visit everyone last night, but I had a phone call from James to say Vicki had gone into labour, so I had to hurry and schedule this post and get off to the hospital, I will keep you posted but hope that next time I post my long awaited little grand-daughter will have arrived.
I hope you will forgive me for making this a short post and including no recipes but this is being typed at top speed as I have 45 minutes to catch the bus. This week on Just Magnolia our challenge is DISTRESSING, we hope to see as many amazing entries as you had this week my goodness the standard of cards entered each week is just awesome!
I never cease to be amazed at the kindness of my fellow bloggers, and I have a really big thank you to say to Francesca who read that I had not received my Summer Kit, she had order one for a friend who ended up not wanting it and e-mailed me to see if I would like to buy it, well of course I had to say yes didn't I, thank you Francesca for thinking of me dear, you ROCK.
For a change Tilda has been coloured with Distress Inks, I masked Tilda and stamped the fence over her. I have distressed around the edges of the image and also around the downloaded papers.
Have used a sentiment and flowers from the Summer Kit on the inside.
Papertake Weekly Challenge
Its another fabulous sketch from one of my favourite bloggers dear Dawny P, thanks so much dear its a brill sketch.
Whilst visiting Elaine and Rach's blog I was stunned by two wonderful images they had coloured and of course me being me had to follow their link to buy a few of these wonderful line drawings for myself, they are drawn by Mo Manning who is a fantastic artist and also a really lovely lady, please go and visit this wonderful site just click HERE, but be prepared to spend a while there and also to spend some pennies.
This little darling is from a download called Support the Troops and there is a little boy and an assortment of hats to go with them. I have coloured her with Copics. The papers are a Designer Digital download and the ribbons stars and buttons are from this months Crafty Feeling Kit, these kits are terrific value for money with lots of goodies in them other than ribbons.

I have used copics again for this card and then distress around the edge with Distress Inks Broken China and Frayed Burlap, not sure if I have gone a bit overboard with this. I also decided to try a different colour combo from my usual Pastels or Pinks and Greens, those who follow my blog know my Phobia about Orange!!!!!, but I think it works.
