Keepsake Box

No card today I made a little keepsake box for my Daughter in Law, it took ages as I had to make a paper template and I mucked it up a couple of times, but in the end I got the measurements right, I have made a note of them now and will do a little tutorial on making this box soon.

I have used some super goodies from Ribbon Girl, Papers, Pearls, & Flowers all details below.  A Mary Stewart Edge Punch was used for the edge of the lid and bottom of the box, and have add Stardust Stickles around the edge of the Cherry Blossom & Open Roses.

Details the Flower arrangement on top of the box.

I also tarted up the inside of the Box with delicious papers.

Hope you are all having a good Sunday rest, I have lots of photos for you today and I apologise now for the quality, I have decided I am not very good at photographing Boxes.  When I first started blogging again I ordered lots of goodies from Mary and Andrea at Ribbon Girl, and was over the moon to get an e-mail from Mary asking if I would be a Guest Designer for this months Any Image Challenge, as you can imagine I took zero seconds to think about it, I almost flew up North I was in such a hurry to say yes.  I cannot imagine a better Company to GDT for with all the lovely Ribbons, Laces and Flowers they sell I didn't have to stint on my embellies its like being in seventh heaven for me.  Don't forget to pop over to the Ribbon Girl Blog  and check out the fabulous prizes and join in the Challenge

Anyway, lets get on to my project for the Challenge, I have made a 4 Drawer Box, I really like making these and Lucys loves them to keep all her precious things in, (if you would like to make a box yourself I have a tutorial on my Tutorial Blog here is the Link 4 drawer box tutorial in case you cannot find it.

Morning All, where has the sun gone, really dull and dingy here this morning.  At the weekend I bought myself a Nutribullet to make smoothies as I wasn't eating enough fresh fruit & veg, I have been having one smoothie a day since Sunday and I must admit I feel a lot brighter, the thought of  adding spinach & carrots to fruit didn't seem very appertising but you don't taste them at all.

Today we have another of my Baby Stamps from Lili of The Valley - Balloon Basket.

Housework can't kill you !!!!!!!

Something a bit different this morning, I had a delivery from USA  today, I hadn't expected the package quite so soon, thank you so much Stamping Bella for your excellent service.

I haven't ordered stamps for ages and had seen a few of these images during my blog hopping so somehow I ordered 5 stamps, well it would have been rude not to wouldn't it.

New Photo taken this morning not sure its any better

This little cutie is called  Uptown Girl LILI loves LAUNDRY, the sentiment, which I love, comes with the Stamp, she has been coloured with Copics, the papers are from my stash and must be ages old I know they are by Fabscraps, but as they only were scraps I am not sure what the designs were called.  A Cheery Lynn Doily Die and a couple of Doo Hickey doiley dies were popped behind the image.  The lovely 28mm Pale Pink Prudence Lace, Siam Pink Seam Binding,  Pale Pink Ballerina Blossom, Large two tone pink rose-bud , Pink Cherry Blossom  are al available from the Ribbon Girl.  The Clock Button is from Lemon Craft- House of Roses self adhesive Buttons, available at  Noor Craft UK

The Copic colours are more vibrant than they appear here sorry about that but here are the numbers:

Skin E11, E21, E51, E50, R20
Hair: Y23, YR24
Dress: R85, R83, R81, RV0000
