A Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge

012a

I have got my days all muddled thats what happens when you only have 1 brain cell :( and very nearly didn’t post this card thinking it was Monday today,  thank goodness I realised in time that it is time for A Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge we have an awesome sketch for you this week by our own talented Paola.

 012

Lots of pictures with this one.  I have used one of last years Tilda images and coloured her with Copics and Prismas as usual , The paper is from Magnolia as is the sentiment.

Copics Used:

Flesh: E21, E00, E000, E0000

Hair: E49, E39, E17, E13, E11

Dress: BG10, BG11

Flowers: RV000, R81, R83

Leaves YG91

and lots and lots of  Glamour dust has been added.

014

OMG when I had completed this card I went on a little blog hop and found that Bev had almost the same idea as me on how to use the Magnolia Doo Hickey  flower dies from Crafts U Love, I will be using them a lot more I just love them, I have distressed the edges with Tumbled Glass Distress Inks from Crafters Companion then used Diamond Stickles around the edges, I also used the New Doo Hickey Leave Steam die, the gorgeous Rose, Cherry Blossom and Rose Buds are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

015

Here is a closer view of the bottom of the card and finally a close up of the image

013

Back and Well Rested

001a

Good Morning hope all my UK friends are having a great Bank Holiday, I had a well needed and fabulous 4 day break and have come back rearing to go.  On Saturday I went to Beamish Museum wow if you haven’t been you must try to get there, it is an awesome trip back in time and it bought back fantastic memories for me of visiting my Grandmothers Cottage in Devon, she had no electric, outside toilet (in fact it was right up the end of the garden), a kitvhern range etc.  I only managed to visit a small part of the museum and cannot wait to go back to see the rest.

001 No challenge for my card today just one made for fun, I have used one of the cute Crafters Companion images from the SWALK range,  this one is called HUGS and can be found HERE.  I am pleased to tell you that Crafters Companion have now got the facility for you to be able to pre-order all the New Seasons Nestabilities and also the new Spellbinder Grand Calibur Cut and Emboss Machine.  I for one have certainly taken advantage of this, as you know  I like to have  new products as soon as they arrive :) its part of my craft obsession I’m afraid.

Now down to my card, I have as usual used Copics and Prismas to colour my image, colours below, Cherry Blossom, Gardenia, Aster Daisys, 5mm Rose Buds, and Flat Back Pearls are all from Wild Orchid Crafts, the paper is by Magnolia and the Doiley is from Joanna Sheen

002Copics Used:

Flesh: E21, E00, E000, E0000

Hair: E53, E51, E50

Dress: R27, R05, R02

Cat: C02, C0, C00

008a

Another card for fun, I should of posted this one last week, but somehow forgot, perhaps if I tidied up my room more often I wouldn't forget things so much.

008

Another Lili of the Valley image for you here this one is called Puppy Post, the paper is from the DCWV Christmas Stack and the image has been coloured with Copics (sorry I haven’t got the colours), The Swirls are punched, and I have also used a Martha Stewart Border punch, the Poinsettias and Flat Back Pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I have taken the Poinsettias  apart and  glittered them with Star Dust Stickles, when dry I attached them together again with a brad from The Hobby House.

010

One last thing I came home to a lovely surprise I had received this lovely award from my good friend  Leann,  thanks sweetie it is much appreciated

imageI have to pass this award on to 7 more bloggers, this is really difficult so I would like to pass it on to all my lovely visitors, please feel free to grab the award and to pass it on to 7 others.

Have a great day
