Lili of the Valley Sneak Peek 5

Before I start with todays cards I would like to tell you about some exciting news I had this weekend, Mary and Andrea aka The Ribbon Girls asked me to join their design team of course I accepted, who wouldn't, the offer came as a complete surprise especially as I have lost a lot of confidence over the past couple of years, so a big thank you to Mary & Andrea.  I cannot wait to get started and to be working with such a talented Design Team.

This is sneak peek no 5 of the soon to be released Lili of the Valley stamp collection this image is called "In The Shed", when I first saw the image I thought it would only be appropriate for mens cards, but after thinking about it, there are lots of us Ladies who love gardening and a shed isn't a male domain any more.

A Fairy in my tea

A girlie card today, back in my comfort zone, although I must admit I enjoyed the challenge of creating male cards, they say you should stretch your mind as you get older.

This is another image from Paper Shelter, isn't she just adorable.  She has been coloured with Copics, I am hoping to have a go at colouring with Distress Inks this afternoon, haven't had them out for ages and just had the urge to do something different.

Went a bit overboard with the Dies and Flowers, I ordered a FEW!!! new roses and Lilys from  Wild Orchid Crafts and they arrived yesterday so being me I just had to use them.

Spring is in the Air

What a beautiful day we had here in Kent yesterday, the sun shone all day and it was really warn proper T Shirt  weather, lets hope it is a sign that Spring is here.

So thinking of Spring I was inspired to make this card.  The Digi Image is from The Paper Shelter Spring & Summer range and is called "She's Charming" these Digis are fantastic value as you not only get the Jpeg Image but also Png image, coloured image, backing papers and a ready to print page layout all for $3.

The papers used are from Nitwits Collections Snow Princess,  the papers have been used to make the 3 roses which were diecut with Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms Die and I haver added 2 Doo Hickey Swirls ( I have tried to find someone who is stocking this Die but have had no luck).

As usual I have used Copics to colour the image colours and link below.

Doo Hickey Swirl - from Stash
String of small pearls from stash.

Feeling A Tad Grumpy Today

Morning Peeps, before I start I must tell you its not me who is grumpy its the little fairy who is throwing a strop.  This is a Digital Image from Paper Shelter -  A Little Bit Grumpy, she reminds me of Lucy when things don't go her way, I bet you all know a little girl like that.  The sentiment is a wooden Stamp I bought ages ago and I'm not sure where I got it from, I have a few more like this with really brilliant kids saying.

As you can see this weeks obsession is coloured hair, might try Aqua next.  Have managed to use a few more of my enormous stash of Magnolia Papers

Copics were used again to colour her with a touch of Polychromos pencils here and there, think I am getting the hang of Copics again, I must admit I nearly threw in the towel when I first started but glad I persevered.

Lots of embellies and a couple of dies used, I also tucked some, pink tulle, that I found in my ribbon box, behind the image.  The Butterflies  and sentiment were edged with Green Copic pen using the chisel end.

Material Used:

Magnolia Papers from Stash
Sentiment Stamp from Stash
Green Flat Back Pearls from Stash

Copics:
Skin: E11, E21, E51, E50, R20
Hair: R85, R83, R81
Dress: YG17, YG03, G20, R83, R01, RV0000
Wings: BV02,BV01,BV00, BV000

That your lot folks, have a good day

Time for Coffee

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Hi my Lovelies another sneak peek featuring Jasmine-Coffee, from the stunning Lili of the Valley Teenage Stamps Release which can be pre-ordered from their website for release on 31st March.

I am afraid you will be seeing rather a lot of cards using these colours and papers as last week I ordered the Paper Pad by Lemoncraft called Forget Me Not from the Ribbon Girl and as soon as it was delivered I just had to use it, in fact I have already ordered another pad of the same paper, can you tell I love it.  Gone to town of the embellies and dies on this one, but I have actually made a card using the same Stamp that is really CAS, keep your eyes open it will feature here in the future.

2 sentiments from the Teenage Girl Sentiment Stamp Sheet also able to be pre-ordered  from Lili of the Valley have been used, plus lots of flowers from my stash.

Now here is a list of the various dies I have used, most of these are from Noor Designs UK,  Cutting-Embossing-Butterfly-Die-2-pcs, Cutting & Embossing Circle with Butterflies, Cut & Embossing Banners.

Finally the White Seam Binding is from the Ribbon Girl.

And Now the Copics Used:

Skin: E21, E51, E50, R20
Dress & Cup: BG02, B01, B00, B0000
Tablecloth: E43, E41, E40
Hair: E57, E35, E33, E31
Chair: E57, E31

Well that was a long one, thanks for visiting, have a good day
