I wasn’t lucky enough to get the new release despite trying hard, but a lovely friend sent me a couple of images to play with, I think these are the best images they have released so far.

I have used Copics to colour the image and cut her put and 3d onto a Nestie Circle.  The Papers are from “The Linen Closet” pack , such gorgeous colour scheme in this pack.  The Large Tulle Flower is by prima and the rest of the flowers and lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts as usual, take a look at that lush lace, I could hardly bear to cut it.  The leaves are cut with the Doo Hickeys Mistletoe Die.

I have been so busy this last couple of weeks and have just not been in a crafting mood, Mr Mojo seems to have gone on walkabout again, I shouldn’t moan too much as he has hung around for longer than usual this last couple of months, but I just know I have not done these new Lili of the Valley Images justice this week, maybe I will find him at Farnborough.

This is one of my favourite images from the New release (9th March) and is called “Mix it and make it” .  I have coloured the images with Copics and Prismas, The papers are a Nitwits download and the Doiley is a Marianne design Diecut.  The Pearls Flowers and seam Binding are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the Button and twine are from The Ribbon Girl.  teh leaves are by prima and are available from Crafts U Love.

I have used another of the new stamps called Birthday Recipe and popped it behind the image so it can be pulled out.

Sneak Peek Day 2

SP3

Most of my posts until Monday will be scheduled as I am one busy bee this week out and about, Baby Sitting, out to dinner and then from Friday to Sunday at Farnborough, if you are going to Farnborough don’t forget to pop over to the Lili of the Valley Stand, I just love meeting everyone and maybe I can catch a cup of latte with some of you.

SN5

Another image from the New Animals release from Lili of the Valley this one is called “Bunches of Love”, this new release will be on sale from 9th March.  I have coloured the image with Copics and then cut out and 3d onto a Nesties Circle Mat.  The Doiley Die behind the mat is by Die-namics and is available from Dies to Die for.  The lace and ribbin binding is from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I have punched the flowers and added flat backed pearls to the centres.  The sentiment is also a Lili of the Valley image.

I have had lots of queries as to where I get the paper doileys I use, we have a lovely Cake Decorating Shop in Birchington and I get mine from there, but I do believe they do have them on the Jonna Sheen Website.

SP2a

Thanks for looking and don’t forget to check out The new Lili of the Valley Challenge tomorrow, I am sure the DT will have used some of the new images.

Nitwits papers again, Martha Stewart Border Punch, Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers and Flat Backed Pearls and Nesties Die Cuts were used to create  this card.  I am so sorry I coloured the image quite a while ago and have forgotten the copics I used to colour the image, I used different greens to my usual choice, but I know I used E53, E51 and E50 to colour the rabbit.

craftsulove_logo8[3]
Our challenge this week is a theme – Love You.  I know it’s a bit late for Valentines Day but your card does not have to be a Valentines card, it could be marriage, anniversary, engagement, love for a friend/child/parent/pet or whatever the Love You theme inspires you to make.

JMH&S1

Went a bit mad with the stamping this week,  3 magnolias and 1 H&S, and also went for my favourite card style of the moment Twisted Easel.  The backing papers are fropm the new Nitwits Downloads Tippy Toes, they have been distressed with Scissors and Victorian Velvet DI, The Word Heart is one of the Magnolia Stamps, and has been inked and stamped with the same DI as the distressing.
The 4 hearts behind the flowers is also a Magnolia Stamp that has been coloured and cut out.

JMH&S2

The large flower is Doo Hickeys Poinsettia Die that has been assembled and then sprayed with Pearl Glimmer Mist, The Leaf is also a DooHickey Die.  The Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Lili of the Valley Challenge

jac1a

I am so sorry I am so late posting this the Dreaded Migraine struck again yesterday, and I have got that horrible day after feeling today,  and have just got up here.  This week we have “Your Favourite Colours” as our theme on Lili of the Valley Challenge, I don’t know about you but my favourite colours change every week and this is this weeks favoured combo.

jac1
Peach and Green are such fresh spring colours, I don’t use them enough.  The papers from The Nitwits Buds n Blossoms  download are just perfect for these colour combo.  The stamp is of course Lili of the Valley “Its My Party”  and has been coloured with Copics.
I have punched the flowers from matching Backing Paper and added a 10mm Rose to the centre of each, the roses ribbon and lace are all from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the Calendar stamp is also from Lili of the Valley.

An Award

stylish_blogger_award[1][3]

I have received this lovely award from 2 fabulous Bloggers Kim and Susibee, thanks girls it has made my Sunday.

In return for receiving this award I am asked to:
Thank the person who gave this award to me and link it back to their blog

Pass this award to 8 other people who write blogs I love to visit and leave a comment so that they can pass along the recognition!

Share 8 things about myself with my lovely blog readers

So here are 8 of the blogs I visit regularly, this was really hard:

Bev

Pops

Dawny P

Edna

PatR

Leann

Marlene

Christine

8 Things about me, I am very boring I am afraid.

1. I am retired but busier than when I worked Full Time

2. I have 4 sons who have no interest whatsoever in craft

3. I am Nanny Fossil to 6 Grandsons and 1 Grandaughter who are the apple of my eye, I love being a Nanny and revert back to childhood when I am with them, so often have to  suffer the wraith  of my own children for being a bad influence in them.

4. I smoke like a trooper but sometimes wish I didn’t (not enough to give it up though).

5. Although I am not a great Chocolate lover I adore Creme Eggs and can eat them until they come out of my ears.

6. As any regular visitor knows I cannot spell and am a bit dyslexic, I cannot tell my left from right and have terrible trouble with buying new shoes I have to take someone with me when I need a new pair just to tell me which feet they go on.

7.  I am not very girly and love Rugby, Football and Cricket ( I suppose I can  blame that on having 4 boys).

8. This is hard to believe but I am painfully shy and try to make up for it with being over the top when I meet new people.

Told you I was boring.

Another Sneak Peek

swalk7a

As promised another sneak peek from the Crafters Companion SWALK release due very very soon.  I will have the details of the release and Create and Craft times for you tomorrow, so don’t forget to check back.

swalk7

This is a colour scheme I have never used before but I like it, so may have to use it again.  The image and sentiment are from the same stamp sheet, its such a help having the sentiment with the image, saves all that hunting around for the right words.  The paper is again from the SWALK CD ROM volume 2, these papers are lush and so versatile.  I have used a Die set from Go-Create and used the Grand Calibur cut the card and base, the Seam Binding is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the flowers have been punched from the backing papers with the smallest Retro Flower Punch

Have used Coffee Break stamp today, there are so many fabby stamps from Lili of the Valley now its hard to decide which one to use each week.  The Papers, which I think are perfect for this image, are from DCWV Sweet Pad,  Don’t faint no FLOWERS on here but I quite like the plain and simple look on this one, Dawny’s sketch , the papers and image don’t need any embellishment though.   Sorry the card looks a bit skew wiff.  I love the Teapot Charm, I am sure I got that from Whiff of JoyThe Seam Binding is from The Ribbon Girl.

usec

The inside has been decorated to match the front and I have used another of my favourite sentiments stamps from Inkadinkado available from Dies to Die For.
