Whiff Of Joy Challenge - Green
I think most of the Challenges this week have the same theme Green (well it was St Paddys Day yesterday, hope you all had a good one). We are looking forward to seeing all your lovely green creations we know we will be impressed as we always are. To find out more about the Challenge click Here.
Don't forget the 22nd March is the release date for the Whiff of Joy Guardian Angel Spring Collection, by now you will have seen lots of sneak peeks of these little beauties from Elizabeth Bell and I am sure you will be looking forward to the release.
This is just such a cute Angel I couldn't resist colouring her up, she has been coloured with distress inks I resisted the temptation of adding glitter to her wings this time. The lovely papers are BG I cut the heart with Nesties. The lovely gem swirls are by Prima, flowers from stash and I have added 2 pearl headed pins from stash.
The Swirl Hearts are also to be released by Whiff of Joy on the 22nd March they come on a sheet with a good selection of different swirls and sentiments. I have used some more of the lovely Prima gems inside.
Stamp with Stampavie - SPRING
From this week we have opened up the challenge to any stamps, this is in line with most Challenge blogs now, so hope more of you can come and join us. It is a lovely theme this week SPRING and just right for us here in the UK where we have been having much better weather and the daffodils and crocus are in bloom. To see the fantastic cards made by my fellow DT buddies just click HERE, looking forward to seeing your creations.
Another Tilda from the SPRING club kit, these really are the best yet, I am sure I say that every time but these really are fab. She has been coloured with Copics and mounted onto two label Nesties, I have stamped the white label with the WOJ cloud stamp and 3d the bee and the Butterflies. Flowers from the lovely Jill at The Hobby House, brads and beads from stash. Not sure who makes the DP
The Tilda inside the card has also been coloured with Copics but on SU Whisper White card stock, the Tilda on the front of the card was stamped onto Canson Manga Art Board, I get asked what card stock is best for the Copics and these both work well but give different effects, the SU card is a much softer look but the markers don't blend in the same way as they do on the Art Board, the art board also gives stronger colour, so it depends on what look you really want I use both depending on the image and the look I want to convey.
Thanks for looking
