We have a lovely sketch for you again this week on Whiff of Joy Challenge, I really enjoyed working with this sketch and hope you do to. There are some fantastic cards on the blog by my fellow DT members so why not pop over to view them and the sketch and join us this week.
I always turn to this lovely WOJ Melinda Angel when I want a soft and gentle card, she is just right for this sort of card, I have used distress inks to colour the image, and have also distressed the edges of the image with the same inks. The sentiment is another WOJ Stamp. I have chosen plain papers to carry on the soft image.
The sketch was carried onto the inside of the card and I have coloured and cut out some of the delicious roses from Magnolias Spring release.

I didn't intend to go for two soft cards today but thats how it has turned out. I loved this sketch but havn't really done it justice, now I look at the card again I should have had more of a contrast in the papers. This beautiful little Sugar Nellie stamp has again been coloured with distress inks and I just had to use my New Nestie Labels I received from The Hobby House on Saturday.
I coloured the same image again and used the nesties on this one.

Two vewry pretty cards. Soft, gentle and delish! I love the subtlety of the papers in the second card and how they seem to merge into one and the roses are fantastic in teh first card as is your colouring with distress inks, something I've yet to master! xx
