Stamp Something Challenge - The Sweetest Thing

A Challenge close to my heart over on Stamp Something they are wanting your card to bring out the sweet tooth in you, anything that involves sweets is eligible, it can be something sweet you have cooked even.

I am not brave enough to show anything I cook on here so I have stuck with a card, I have used a fabulous sketch I found on Tiets blog, she has 5 new sketches on there and they are so usable, I am sure I will find loads to do with them. I have coloured my Housemouse stamp with Distress Inks and H2o's and layered it up on lots of different scraps of DP, I think I went overboard with the pearls today, but I am quite pleased with it. Sorry about the quality of the photo but weather is not very good.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Snow

We would like you to make a Christmas card what features snow in some way, it can be papers, brads, embossing what ever you like as long as we can see snow and of course at least one penny black image as always its entirely up to you what you make - card, atc, altered art etc..This week we have another fantastic prize what has been kindly donated by one of our fabulous sponsors Sir Stampalot. Some great Acrylic Stamps are up for one lucky person. If you have never visited Sir Stampalot they have a great range of stamps, and their service is first class, I have always received next day delivery from them.
This large stamp is called "Snowmen Melt your Heart", I loved colouring this as it has so much detail, it was coloured with distress inks and H2O's, I was going to add Glamour Dust but then thought it didn't need it. The maroon CS has been embossed with Cuttlebug Folder Swirls, and sentiment cut of the Cricut Basic George cartridge, Christas Tree Charm from Crafty Kraft, and snowflake brad from stash.
Please join with us this week there are some great cards from my fellow DT members on the blog Here and also a picture of the great stamps to be won. Have a great weekend everyone

Funky fairy -Get Well Card

What a lovely morning it is here in Kent, hope its the same for you all. It was very muggy last night and I found it difficult to sleep so as one does at 2am, I decided to try to get my stamps sorted into some sort of order, that lasted about 10 minutes as I found my Sofa and Window stamp from Alota that I received a few weeks ago and hadn't used, here is the result. It is all coloured with Distress Inks, I used Magnolia background stamp for behind the window, the panes were cut out and I glued acetate and the background behind, that sandwich was gluded flat onto the card, I then 3d the sofa and Bandage Tilda in front. I decided to decorate the inside of the card, I am really pleased with this, The swirls are Basic Grey Stamps, and the Prescription is a stamp from Maya Road. Hope you like the result of my late night, early morning crafting. As this is a Get Well card I have just realised I can enter it for The Funky Fairy Challenge which is for a get well card

The lovely card layout was another one from Katharinas blog, which I have been waiting to use for ages. Papers are Basic Grey, Flowers from Poppicraft and Joanna Sheen, centre of flower was from a broken bracelet that I knew would come in handy sometime.

Tilda & Co - Think of others

Thinking of others is the theme for this week. Now this could be an altered gift, a Card Set, ( not just a card on its own) It could be a Mini Book, it could be anything! As long as it is a gift for somebody, as we all send out little raks to crafting friends or gifts to them, and then there's our family's – so i thought it would be nice that this week, we are “ thinking of others” and what we can make for them to put a smile on there face. There is also some lovely blog candy to put a smile on one lucky persons face as well.
As Always your work must include at least 1 Magnolia Stamp.
