Its a Girl Thing - 2 cards for the Girls

Just Magnolia Challenge

We are sponsored each month for our Special Monthly Challenge by Simon Says Stamp and this month Heidi has made the prize extra special. Just check out all this deliciousness!!

And now on to this months Special Challenge. It's a special time of the year and we all have special people in our lives so what you need to do to qualify for the amazing prize is make a card for Someone Special. That's it - nice and easy at this busy time of the year. The winner will be chosen by Random Generator next week so to be in the running all you need to do is ensure you have at least one Magnolia image on your card and link your card (not your blog) in Mr Linky and have your card posted by 10 pm UK time next Thursday 10th December.

Back to my Green Phase again for this weeks card, To get the shade of green I wanted I mixed the Peeled Paint an Pine Needles Distress Ink together I am so pleased with the results, the other Distress Inks used are Worn Lipstick, Vintage Photo, Black Soot, Vintage Photo, Tea Dye, Frayed Burlap and Tattered Rose. I have added lots of Gold Glimmer Dust to the image. The Large Rose is from Tabby Crafts and the smaller roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, I have sprayed them all with Dew Drop Glimmer Mist and painted Liquid Pearls around the edges, the lovely Gold Ribbon is from Bunny Zoes Crafts and the sentiment stamps is by SU.

Wags'n Whiskers Challenge 5

This week's challenge is all about Distressing! So tear some paper, ink up those edges, or rough something up!! Just don't rough up your husbands!! LOL!

We have an AWESOME prize for one winner this week!! Are you ready?...
One lucky participant will win one of the NEW RELEASE stamps of your choice!!
Yes, you heard that right...

We are having a new release NEXT Friday - December 11th!!!

I have used the lovely Wags'n Whiskers design Ansleys Surprise by Crissy Armstrong, available from Bunny Zoes Crafts. She has been coloured with Copics the fabulous papers are again from Magnolias Christmas Collection. The Flowers are from Tabby Crafts and the Spacers and brads are from The Hobby House, I have coloured the Pearl Brads with Copics to match the image. I am so pleased with the colours on this card
