Sketch Saturday and Stamp with Fun

Sketch Saturday

I am so pleased I had time this week to join in with the Sketch Saturday challenge, I have missed entering, the sketches are always so inspiring.

Today we have another of the new releases from Inky Impressions this little darling is called Shy Little Nicki, I love everyone of the new releases and really couldn't choose a favourite, they make the most wonderful cards for Little girls of all ages. The stamps are now available to buy from Inky Impressions so pop over and check them all out and why not join in the Blog Hop there is lots of candy on offer, details on my side bar.

Nicki has been coloured with Copics (colours below), and the papers I have used are by Imaginise. I have used the Medium and small retro punch for the little flowers and added flat back pearls to the centre of the bead caps from Eggstravaganza.

Stamp with Fun

A Sketch for you this week on Stamp with Fun, there are some brilliant cards by my fellow DT members to get you started, plus the chance to win a lovely prize. Thanks Saphira for the brilliant sketch I really enjoyed working with this one.

Do you have trouble finding images for Mens Christmas cards, I know I do, but this gorgeous little Hanna image is just perfect, he is available from Bunny Zoes Crafts and this week Nikki has all Hanna, Belles and Whistle and Paper Pretties stamps on offer at 20% off, so you better hurry over there as I don't think they will last long.

I got out my long neglected Prismas and Sansodor to colour this image, forgot how much I like using them, you may be seeing more of them from now on. The Lovely Papers are Cosmo Cricket Mini Deck - Early Bird, they and the ribbon are also available from Bunny Zoes Crafts.

Made with Love

Just Magnolia Challenge

This weeks theme on Just Magnolia Challenge is EMBOSSING" we would like to see any type of embossing somewhere on your card, the entries to last weeks challenge were fantastic and hope we see you all again this week. To find out more about the challenge, and view the fabulous creations by my fellow DT Divas just click Here

WoooHooo! I received this Fall Magnolia Kit with no problems this time, I had my fingers crossed until it popped through the letterbox after the last release never reached me. I have coloured Chef Tilda with Distress Inks (Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, Frayed Burlap, Antique Linen, Faded Jeans and Black Soot), The papers are also from Magnolia and I have distressed around the edges with Antique Linen, the sentiment is also a stamp from the collection.

The Roses are from Wild Orchid Craft and the little tiny Rosebuds and Pearl Hat Pins are from Tabby Crafts, I think I mentioned in an early post that Tab has the most beautiful Voile Ribbon in stock I have received mine and it is Lush.

I was so pleased with the Knife and Fork charm but it didn't show up very well in the photos so I took a closer one for you to see, isn't it just apt for this card.

My Dear Little Grandson Ben started school this morning, I cannot believe he is that grown up, and I am on tenterhooks now until Vikki rings me this evening to tell me how he got on. I have posted some photos of Charlies first Birthday and a new Piccie of dear Lucy in the post below if you are interested (Proud Nanny Fossil that I am).

Christmas Bunnies

Lili of the Valley Challenge

It is a week for colour challenges and today on Lili of the Valley Challenge we have the colours Brown, Orange and Green as our theme. The Dt have produced some fabulous cards, lots of them with the new stamp collection from Lili of the Valley, so we do hope you can come and join us again.

These new Bunnie Christmas stamps from Lili of the Valley are just so cute, I think lots of you think so to as Lisa and Liala were overwhelmed with orders for all the new stamps, and at £3.50 per stamp it is no wonder. I have coloured the image with Copics (for colours see below) and added lots of glitter to the snowflakes. The papers are from stash drawer again but I do know the green paper comes from Donnas Bearly Mine CD, the flowers are new stock from Bunny Zoes Craft, she has loads of new Primas in stock and boy was it an effort to choose just a few sets to order.

Here are the copics I used on this card.

Boy am I having a bad week, this morning I see my hits counter is playing up, I think I was nearly at 145,000 hits and was due to post some candy as soon as it hit that mark, well look out next week I might just have to post it anyway. Then I just went to make my morning coffee in my craft room and my Coffee Machine has died, Oh well will have to bring the kettle up here!!!!!! I will be glad when this week is over lol!!

A Card a Sneak Peek and a Miracle

Whiff of Joy Challenge

I hope you have a few spare minutes as this is an extra long post Sorry!!!!!!
Our challenge this week on Whiff of Joy Challenge is a colour theme Teal and Orange, and the miracle in the title is that I have managed to post this card at all, last night I had a series of Senior moments :(, as a result of which this is the third card I made for the challenge, the first one I got the challenges mixed up and made a card to fit next weeks theme, after the very patient Donalda e-mailed me that I had done the wrong one, I started again this time I used last weeks theme der!!!!!!!!!!!. I do so hope I have now got the challenge correct.

I have used another lovely Willow Stamp from Whiff of Joys Fall Collection, she has been coloured with distress inks (Dried Marigold, Broken China, Frayed Burlap, Tea Dye, Tattered Rose, Peeled Paint). The papers are Basic Grey Marrakech Pad. The beautiful Blue Rose was a gift form my lovely friend Tab, thank you sweetie MWAH xxxx
I have sprayed all the roses with Old Lace Glimmer Mist just wish you could see the sparkle.

I carried the papers and sketch onto the inside and added another of the lovely Stamps from the Whiff of Joys Fall Collection,

Another quickie from me today as I have to get Mum to the Doctors this morning, and that is like organising a polar expedition (I know its really hot here but Mum will not venture out without a Scarf, Thick Coat, socks etc). I have used more stamps from the fabulous Elizabeth Bell Fall Collection released by Whiff of Joy, the stile has just been released and I can see it coming in really handy, I stamped Willow first then masked her and stamped the Stile over her, she has been coloured with Distress Inks, the papers were from my stash and are really lush wish I knew who made them. The sentiment is from the same fall collection.

I am off to Charlies Birthday Party this afternoon it dosn't seem possible that it is a year since he was born, time has just flown by, all the other Grandchildren including Lucy will be there so I am in for lots of cuddles and lots of football!!!!!!! Yipeee!!

Happy Monday

Stamp with Fun

Its a challenge with a difference this week on Stamp with Fun we are asking you to create a CD holder, the DT have come up with some great and easy ideas to get you started. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

I bought this template from Here ages ago I knew it would come in handy one day :D, its really simple to construct and makes an ideal present. I have used one of the really cute Manga Girls from Sugar Nellies, I cannot wait for the new Christmas Mangas to arrive will keep checking everyday to see if they are in stock. She has been coloured with Copics, I have used the same colours as I used for the previous card so have not taken a photo of them.

The papers are from Basic Grey Porcelain Collection, Flowers are again from Wild Orchid crafts, I heard today that Hobbycraft will be opening a new store in Broadstairs very soon, that has really made my day as I am in love with the beautiful large roses and ribbons available from their stores. Talking of flowers and ribbons you must visit Tabs brilliant webshop to see the LUSH new embellies she has for sale just click HERE to go straight to the website.

While I am on I would also like to tell you about some lovely candy that my very dear friend Mina is offering one lucky person this week, there are some gorgeous roses and buttons they are yummy as is her fabulous blog so if you visit be prepared to spend some time there.
