Snow White

001a

I have been struggling all week to find the motivation to make cards, think I was burnt out, as usual when I need inspiration I go to my beloved Tildas, 9 times out of ten they inspire me.

001I defy anyone not to want to colour this gorgeous Snow White Tilda, I have coloured her with Distress Inks, I took the colours off of my palette and forgot to take the names of the inks, sorry,.  I have also used the spring background stamp from Magnolia and 3d snow white on top, lots of glamour dust has been used all over.  The papers are by Magnolia as is the Sentiment stamp.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Heart Doily from The Hobby House .

002 2 posts in one day not usual for me, please scroll down to see this weeks Dt card for Whiff of Joy Challenge

Woeful Wednesday

001a I cannot believe its Wednesday already, the weeks just seem to go faster.  Today is release day for Lili of the Valley BUSY BEARS collection,  you know how fast these little cuties go so I would get my skates on and get over there if I was you.

Today is Whiff of Joy Challenge day and this week we have a sketch by Bev for you, its a really unusual sketch for Bev but I really enjoyed using it.  Hope you can join us this week.

001

Katharina gave me 3 stamps at Ally Pally from the new collection to be released in May, here is one of them.  The new stamps will have the theme of Get Well Soon and will include Willow, Henry Mouse and the Little Gnomes.  I just think this poorly Henry looks as if he needs a big Cuddle.

I have used Distress Inks to colour Henry, and the papers are all from The Martha Stewart Baby Boy Collection.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and butterflies are all punched with Martha Stewart Punches.

003Hope you have a good day

Thanks for Looking

Summer Beauties

013a

Good morning another wonderful Sunny day here in Kent and I have a couple of sunny cards for you today.  The first card has been created for this Weeks Peachy Keen Challenge where we have a lovely colour challenge for you. Cream, Green and Lilac yummy.

013  First thing I have to say is that the lovely Wild Orchid Crafts flowers do actually match the lilac on the card but I had to use flash to get the photo and it has distorted the colours, I have used Lulee’s Swim Time   (PK780) stamp for this card, I must try to get a swimming hat like that, she has been coloured with Copics.  The papers are from a pad by Wild Rose Crafts and are just a perfect match.  I do hope you can join us this week for this lovely challenge.

014a

Now for 2 more of Jaynes Patchwork Polly Card which were released this morning on Create and Craft.

018

Here is Chloe she is coloured with Copics with some of her little accessories and patchwork square.

013

Here is Helene she has been coloured with Water Colour pencils, this is the first time I have used this medium I think I need a bit more practise, to see more of the cards I made for the show I will be uploading them to my Crafters Companion Blog.

Back On Line

001 (3)a

I am back in from the wilderness, my Router for my internet connection gave up the ghost and I had no access all weekend to the internet.  Happily it arrived this morning!!!

001

Today I can show you some of the 36 cards I was busy making the other week, I would like to introduce you to Patchwork Polly and Friends, these fabulous stamps have been designed by my very good friend the wonderful Jayne Nestorenko  for Crafters Companion and will be launched tomorrow (Tuesday) on a 2 hrs show on Create and Craft between 10 and 12 am.

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed playing with these super cute little girls, there are 6 sets all together and each set includes accessories and patchwork squares complete with sentiments.   I have used 2 of the patchwork square on this first card and laso a couple of the flower accessories.

001b

This little cutie is Olivia and she has been coloured with Copics. Olivias accessories include a cute teddy and a patchwork ballon.

012

Here is Jenny, she has been coloured with my usual Distress inks, she has two patchwork squares and the cutest bunny every.

012a

Now it is time to introduce Polly herself.

004 (2)

I have included quite a few of Pollys accessories on this card just to give you an idea of what value you are getting with each set, The Butterfly, Bird, Flowers and Patchwork Triangle are all included in the set along with sentiment and 2 more flowers.

004 (2)aIf I have not bored you I will show you just one more today and let you see the other 2 tomorrow.

005 (3)  This is Julie and her little friend I have used Distress Inks again on this one, I think she is my favourite of all 6, I have stamped the Patchwork square 4 times with Distress Ink.

005 (3)a I hope I have now whetted your appetite, don’t forget the show tomorrow, and if you cannot see the show the stamps will be on sale on the Crafters Companion website from tomorrow.

Still Waiting for my Prince!!!

001a

I bet you are fed up with waiting for  me to answer you all and leave some comments, my intentions were good, until I had a phone call to ask me to make some cards for a Crafters Companion TV Launch that was scheduled for Mid-May but had been bought forward to next WEDNESDAY!!!!!!, talk about a rush, not sure where I am coming from at the moment!!!

Anyway this is my third card as a GDT for Sweet Stamping Challenge where this week you are asked to create a card to go with the Theme in stitches, either real or faux stitches or some thing humorous.  I have gone for Humorous, as I just love the look on Tilda and Prince Frogs faces and they make me smile, they both look really fed up!!!!

001

Managed to use 4 stamps from my Spring Kit on this one, which has been coloured with distress inks.  The window is the stamp that I was having trouble with but have built up the really thin side and managed to get an image not perfect but better than the first images I stamped.  Papers are by Magnolia and flowers of course from Wild Orchid Crafts.

016 I received my Spring Magnolia Kit this week and of course couldn’t wait to play, but although I think this must be my favourite ever kit, I was really disappointed in the quality, in fact one side of the sheet was so thin I could not get it to stamp properly as one side was thicker than the other, I must say I was a bit miffed when I think how much we pay for the kit.

019

I must have taken 10 pictures just to get one descent one today, perhaps its the volcanic dust!!!!, Distress Inks have been used to colour Lady Tilda

Face and Hands – Tattered Rose, Tea Dye and Worn Lipstick, Dress Victorian Velvet and Chipped Sapphire, Hair – Tea Dye and Frayed Burlap.

The papers are by Magnolia , Prima Pearl Swirls are from The Hobby House,  I made the With Love Label with the packaging of the pearls which I distressed with Frayed Burlap then punched with a Label Punch also from The Hobby House, the round Thank You Sentiment is by SU, of course the beautiful Roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts, what on earth did we do before we discovered WOC, (by the way there are some new Wild Roses on the website, Paul uploaded them last night, you had better be quick you know they don’t stay on there long).

Just had to say that I went over to Crafts U Love view the new Magnolia stamps due for release in early May OMG I fell in love especially with Fairy Dust and Ballerina Tilda, my purse is a bit lighter this morning.

014

Here is my little tin to hold some soaps I made for Heidi, I have used the Tiny Flying Tilda from the Spring Kit on here.

Well if you haven’t fallen asleep after reading all this I have one last Picture to show you this is my candy for the blog hop, I will draw a random number at the end of the hop.

015  So if you would like to be in with a chance to win this candy please advertise our blog hope on your blog and  just leave a comment with a link to your blog  on Mr Linky below.  Best of Luck and I do hope you enjoy the Blog Hop now don’t forget your next stop is Heather (Rica) Blog.

003

I had better get on now and try to catch up on everything that has been left for the last few days, if you have e-mailed me so sorry I haven’t got back to you but promise I will try to at some stage today
