Breakfast for two and Who Me!!!!!!

What a great theme we have for you this week on Penny Black Saturday Challenge, Something to Eat. My Fellow DT members have produce some fabulous cards with different takes on this theme so pop over and see their cards and join in this week challenge.

I have had this stamp for an age, I picked it out of a Bargin Basket for about £4.00 but have never found the opportunity to use it as it is such a big stamp, it has been coloured with Copic Markers, I then coloured the mice, egg and eggcup again and 3d them on to the base image. The papers are BG, I used a little tag punch for the tag and used an SU sentiment. Buttons from Stash and Ribbon from Rach.

I have used another SU sentiment on the inside

Cute Card Thursday - Animal Magic

Cut card Thursday Challenge want to see us use an animal somewhere on our card, their Dt have given us some great inspiration to start us on our way.

Isn't this puppy just the cutest, I was really tempted to use one of the Gorjuss Girls for this challenge, but thought you might have a bit of a Gorjuss overload and I remembered another stamp I had but hadn't inked up, this stamp is by Whippersnapper. He has again been coloured with copics (and in real life is a bit more ginger than in the photo) the paper is by BG. The ribbon is fron Raspbery Ribbon, Flowers string and little bone button are from stash.

Love Letter

Friday Sketchers Challenge have a great sketch this week and its ages since I have been able to join in even though I'm only scraping in by the skin of my teeth.

I visited Alison from Stamping Heaven's blog, last night and was just blown away by her fabulous Gorjuss Girl card, if you havn't seen it please do pop over there, anyway I asked her if she would mind if I made a little scene for my card. Although they are completely different I would just like to thank her for the brilliant idea. Anyway I have used one of Chris Darks fabulous background stamps which I coloured lightly with 3 colours of grey Copic Markers with just a little touch of red. She has been coloured with Copics and 3d onto the scene. The papers are BG, flowers pins etc are all from stash.

Gorjuss in Pink and Grey

I can never usually manage 1 card for 2 challenges but i have today, this card is for Sketch Saturday where as usual they have a fabulous Sketch for us to follow, and also for this weeks challenge on Colour Create Challenge which is Grey and Pink one of my favourite colour combinations.

I am sure I am going to see lots of these little beauties as I blog hop later tonight or in the morning, I let out a big Whoops!!!! when I opened the package and saw them all and couldn't wait to start colouring. She and her little cat have been coloured with Copics, The papers are from BG, I had no grey ribbon so I coloured some odd white satin ribbon with a grey copic, worked quite well, even if I do say so myself. The grey flowers have been punched with the Large and Mediun Retro Flower punches fron Grey BG paper and I have added Lots of Glamour Dust which doesn't really show much, then addes a couple of flowers from stash and a little bow. The leaves are the Ash Branch Stamp, the little bouquet at the top is just flowers from stash.

have used the papers inside again and just coloured her face, hat and hair and punched with a circle punch. Sorry the photo is so bad.

Dancing Charlotte

Its another one of the fabulous sketches from DawnyP this week at Papertake weekly, I can never resist them.

I have turned the sketch (hope thats Ok Dawn :) ), I had this little Dancing Charlotte from Whiff of Joys Medieval Release already coloured up and thought she was just perfect for this sketch, she has been coloured with Distress Inks, the Papers from K&Co just seemed to go with the image perfectly, they have the look of medieval fabric about them. The flowers are punched with the large and medium Retro Flower Punch from the paper, the lovely gold flat backed pearls were a birthday present from my dear friend Bev. I have attached the charm to the pearl brad with two jump rings, the sentimet if an SU stamp.

A closer a view of Charlotte and the inside of the card.

Before I finish I would like to say a very big thank you to everyone who sent me a birthday card, I don't think I have ever had so many, and also thank you for the lovely presents I received, what a great place blogland is I feel as if I am part of a great big crafting family. I would like to also thank all of you who left birthday wishes for me, you made my birthday very special.

Little Goose Girl

A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge

Shape Shifters

We would like to see all different shapes of cards and not the normal square one's we all like to make ;-)

We have a great prize this week of the two cute stamps (Easter Jar & Chick in Egg). These have been kindly donated by Helene from Alota Rubber Stamps.

We have two new Design Team members this week Caryn and Karen, and the most fabulous card from our Guest Designer of the Week the fabulously talented and lovely
Bev, to see Bevs and the rest of the Dt cards and join in with us this week just click Here

I found this challenge really daunting, I just wasn't sure what I was going to do, ended up with a very easy shape, I made this card by folding the card over and cutting with the Labels nesties just leaving the top out side the die. (Does that Make Sense). I then cut another mat with the next size down nestie and white card, then run it though the cuttlebug in the Swiss Dots Folder, The little 3d image is a Precious Moments Stamp coloured with Copics, the swirl is a cuttlebug die, flowers and charm from stash.

I am going to make this into a gift card and have left the inside blank, and will add the name and sentiment later.

Dutch Dare - WOJ DT Card

Dutch Dare Challenge this week is the a colour theme YELLOW - GREEN, I don't do Yellow So I hope Cream Counts, it is after all a shade of yellow!!!!!

I thought I would combine this challenge with another DT card for Whiff of Joy, I have chosen to use the sweet Sitting Willow and the Log from the Spring Collection by Elizabeth Bell, I am sure we are going to see lots of cards made with this gorgeous new collection. Willow and the log have been coloured with Distress Inks, the K&Co papers have been distressed with TH Distressing Tool and Antique Linen Distress Ink.The flowers have been punched with the smallest retro punch, and leaves with the Ash Branch punch that I and it seems most of you have trouble with, I have again used the 50th Anniversary ribbon, the rest is from stash

have carried the papers on to the inside, and have punched several flowers with all three sizes of the Retro Flower Punch, and of course had to get MSDP in somewhere.

Dreaming and A Present for Grandma

Its a recipe this week on Lili of the Valley Challenge
3 Brads (or Buttons) - 2 Papers - 1 Flower
Don't forget you can use any images or papers on your creation not just Lili of the Valley.

Well I have managed to use just one flower it was a struggle, I compromised and used a rather large Prima Flower, these are my specials I only brought them to gaze at not to use he!he! I have also used my Ash Branch punch again, has anyone else had a problem with this punch? I find it will only punch through very thin paper, and thats with me standing on it. I have used another of my lovely Mimosa Stamps, I wonder who or what she is dreaming about? She has been coloured with Copics, I keep meaning to keep a note of the colours but I get disturbed and forget to do it. Used my beloved Nesties again and a Fiskars Border Punch. The papers are Making Memories. I have actually used two star brads and counted my paperclip as the third. Sentiment is SU.

The way I have taken the picture the inside looks wonky but it isn't IRL.

Truly Scrumptious Challenge No 1

Some of my favourite and talented blogging buddies have started a new challenge blog and I could not let the first challenge go without joining in. There is a Truly Scrumptious sketch to follow this week and a Truly Scrumptious Prize of 2 lovely Stamps, so go on support your fellow bloggers and join in. The DT have produced some great cards to get you started.

Little Willow has just picked some flowers and is taking them to her Grandma what a little treasure she is, she has been coloured with distress inks, the papers are from K&Co, I have punched the flowers from the same paper and have added spacers brads and a little heart charm from my stash. Willow is one of the stamps from Whiff of Joy Elizabeth Bell Spring Collection.
These are now available to buy as single stamps for the Whiff of Joy website.

I have used the same papers inside and punched out another head of Willow (it didn't hurt her I promise), The border down the side is a Rub-on from Imaginise.

To have a chance to win this fantastic Dt Call please check out all the details of how to enter on Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog, if you have any queries about the challenge please e-mail me.

Here is a card from me to hopefully give you some inspiration if you need it and there are more fantastic creations on the
Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog by the rest of the talented Design Team.

Another of Elizabeth Bells Spring Collection today, I think this lovely Willow stamp will be my favourite, I just love the wistful look on her face. She has been coloured with Distress Inks (no I havn't given up the copics but I do think these stamps, like Sarah Kays, call out for the softer touch of Distress Inks). The papers are BG , flowers from stash and of course MSDP had to get in somewhere. Must get myself some more of these border punches.

Again the inside is quite plain and the verse is from the internet.

Stamp with Stampavie

Wow the sketch this week on Stamping with Stampavie is fabulous I had great fun with it.

As I said above I really like these stamps coloured with Distress inks, I cannot get the sewing machine out as the noise it makes annoys Mum, (although most of the time the TV is so loud I don't know how she can bear it), so I added some faux stitching around the edge of the cute image. The lovely soft papers are BG and the gold fibre ribbon is some I had left from a Golden Wedding Cake I made for my aunt. The flowers have been punched with more of the BG papers and the little heart charms are from my lovely friend Camilla, Thanks Dear, the sentiment is from Whiff of Joy.

I stamped out the little dog and coloured and punched him with the circle punch more BG papers and MSDP used inside

Thanks for looking and very best of luck if you join in the Whiff of Joy Guest Designer Call
