Willows Recipe Folder

OMG the challenge this week on Colour Create Challenge was like my worst nightmare, Yellow, Orange and Green, well I don't mind the Green but you all know my feelings on Yellow and Orange. After seeing the brilliant creations by the DT I felt inspired to have a go.

Talk about working outside your comfort zone, not only my most dreaded colours but also NOT A CARD, well nothing ventured nothing gained so here we are. This Recipe Folder was a download template from Papertrey, I have just popped 2 Post-It notes in the pockets at the moment but hope to buy some divider cards and postcards to put in one side. This is a present for my aunt (who unlike me is a brilliant cook) and keeps all the recipes that have been handed down in the family. Luckily I found this Basic Grey 12" x 12" paper in my stash and the colours were perfect, The WOJ Willow image was coloured with Distress Inks. Scroll, and corners were Cuttlebug and sizzix dies cut on the Cuttlebug. Flowers, pearls and spacers from stash.

The same BG paper was used for the inside of the pockets and another sheet of 12" x 12" BG paper was used for the outside. I have made the Pen Holder from ribbon from Raspberry Ribbon. The sentiment is from SU.

Thanks for looking
Hugs
Jacqui xx
