Tuesday Twosome

We have a the new home for our Just Magnolias Tutorial Challenges Here. The challenges on this blog will be based around the challenges that our Featured Stampers do for us. Last month our Featured Stamper was our fellow DT member Kim, who did the most amazing distressing tutorial for us which you can find Here.

There will be a new Tutorial and Challenge every month and they will be sponsored by the very generous 7 Kids College Fund, we hope you will find these tutorials and challenges as inspiring as the DT have and will come and join us, the Dt have created cards using Kims fabulous tutorial to get you started.

I still have my Aunt staying so another quick post, I will be back to normal (or as normal as I can ever be) at midday on Thursday.

Little Rose Tilda has been coloured with Distress Inks, I have distressed the edges of the image with vintage paper and fired brick Distress Ink and the papers has all been distressed around the edges with the same inks. The Heart was embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Folder and painted with Distress Pain (Antique Linen) and sprayed with Glimmer Mist.

The same papers are used inside (these came from my scrap drawer and I am afraid I cannot remember who produces them, I have added the Magnolia Love Note image.

The Challenge at A Spoonfull of Sugar this week is a very timely one for us in the UK, its SUMMER and it looks as if we are heading for a Mini Heatwave here. The DT have made some lovely summery cards to give you inspiration so please come and join us.

I have used another of the very cute Bildmalarna Mimosa stamps available from Bunny Zoes Crafts, she has been coloured with Copics, I really could of done with a cold bath to put my feet in this afternoon it was so hot!!!!!

The Papers are a Nit Wits Collection download, and I have distressed the edge of the border punched with my MS Doily BP, the fabulous charm was a RAK from Bev as were the leaves, I have tried to get the MS branch punch but cannot find it anywhere if anyone knows where I can get one I would be obliged if they could let me know.

The same papers have been used inside

Didn't Andrew Murray do well last night what a truly fantastic and thrilling match it was, I am not sure I could go through the tension again.

Thanks for looking

Hugs
Jacqui xx

Both your cards are gorgeous Jacqui, one of my favourite Magnolia's. I love your Mimosa card and great idea to add the little gem on her top, I love the butterflies too, beautiful work as always, I think I will be keeping cool today by going in the kids paddling pool later ;-) Hugs, Nikki x

Love both of your cards Jacqui. Very warm here but very dull too. I could have done with my feet in that bucket yesterday. I enjoyed Murray's win too and was pleased today when I spotted Sir Cliff in the Royal box.
