Good morning this is a scheduled post, just hope I have remembered how to do this. Today we have a new Challenge for you on Penny Black Saturday Challenge this one is just up my street –BUTTONS AND BOWS – and we have our regular 5 sponsors (The Ribbon Girl, Penny Black Inc, J & C Creations, Craftwork Cards and 1-2-3 Stitch) so you have five chances to win, do come and join us.
I am going to carry on trying new techniques in crafting just to make it more interesting and diverse, I loved making my own background for this card, it was really easy just using Distress Inks – Peacock Feathers, Broken China, Shaded Lilac – ,WOW Clear EP, and Emboss Clear Ink Pad, all available from J & C Creations.
I Have used Penny Black Wood Mounted Stamp – Flying Stars – which has been inked up with Kaleidacolor – Blue Breeze, then added and Stickles, and Liquid Pearls in blues and lilac. The card is Finished with scrummy 38mm Spot Organza Ribbon and a Spotty Button both available from the Ribbon Girl.
If you are a Penny Black addict then do pop over to the J & C Creations website where they have an enormous range of Wood Mounted, T for Transparent and Slapstick/Cling Stamps, including the brand new Christmas 2012 Range and don’t forget to check out their blog at J & C Creations Designs to Inspire where they are showcasing 2 fabulous projects by the Design Team Using Dies and Distress Inks.
have a lovely weekend
