Just Magnolia Challenge
We have an awesome sketch for you this week on Just Magnolia Challenge, I always enjoy working with Bev’s sketches and this one is no exception. I think all my fellow DT members felt the same as they have created some fantastic cards this week, just pop over to the Just Magnolia Challenge Blog to see there cards and Bev’s Sketch.
I love Tilda Blowing Kisses as you have no doubt guessed as I seem to use her so much, this time I have stamped her with Brown Memento Ink and used Copics and Prismas to colour her, the Copics used are:
Face & Hands – E21, E00, E000, E000, Cheeks – E01, Dress – R02, R01, R00 Hair – E35, E17, E13, E11 and E50.
20mm Open Rose, Cherry Blossom, 5mm Rose Buds and Lace are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. I used scissors to cut Tildas legs up to her bottom, then fitted her on a Round Nestie with her legs placed over the top of the nestie so they were not punched out. (Hope you understand that). The Butterflies are punched with a Martha Stewart Punch. The lush paper is by Websters pages.
Don’t forget you have until midnight tonight to be in with a chance of winning my candy above.
Have a great day

Now for something different
It is hard to believe how hard it is to make a plain card, I had a strict remit for this boys card – It must be blue, have no embellishments and feature a little boy. You wouldn’t think that would be difficult would you!!!!, well it was it took me ages last night to finish this one and I am still not happy with it.
I love this image of Owen watching his boat from Lili of the Valley which has been coloured with Copics and Prismas, The paper is from my stash and I have used a Martha Stewart Large Border Punch which I have added Glamour Dust to, it looks as if it is not straight on this picture, but I can assure yoy it is IRL, I think it must be the angle I have taken the picture at, (note to myself: have some photography lessons!!). The stars are also punched with a Martha Stewart Punch. Can you tell I am really not happy with this card.
Off to Margate today to see Charlie.
Have a lovely day

Another Christmas card
Good morning another hot one here, but thank goodness not so humid as it has been. had a lovely day with my Aunt yesterday, we went into Canterbury to do a some shopping and a little bit of site seeing, the Cathedral looks wonderful in the sunshine and the gardens were so peaceful we had a lovely hour just sitting in the gardens and and doing a bit tourist spotting, I take everything about Canterbury for granted its not until I see other people so awestruck by the City and Cathedral that I realise how lucky I am to live so close. We had a yummy Bacon Baguette and Latte in Marks and Spencers, then later a large bag of Chips from the best chip shop in the UK!!!!.
Well down to todays card, it is another DT card for Lili of the Valley , as I have not had the time to get up here, but I will not apologise for showing another of the brilliant Christmas Release as they are so cute I am sure like me you would never get fed up seeing them.
These cute Carol Singers have been coloured with Copics and Prismas, I have used Magnolia Paper and a Magnolia Silent Night Music Stamp, I have torn around both and added Walnut Stain Distress Ink to the music Sheet. The Flowers are as usual from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaves were punched with a Martha Stewart Punch.
We are off to do a bit of gardening now, got the horrible job of clearing the weeds from the paving stones on the patio.
have a goo day

The Snowman – Lili of the Valley DT Card
I may be a bit slow with my posts this week as I have my Aunt staying and I don’t like to spend to much time up here, but luckily I have some Dt cards for Lili of the Valley that I haven’t shown you yet.
This is Mr Snowman from the new LOTV release, he has been coloured with Copics and Prismas and lots of Glamour Dust. The paper is from DCWV Linen Closet and is also pre-glittered I have used a Spellbinder Borderability to cut out the Border, the Snowflakes where then glittered and re-attached to the border with glue gel. the flat back pearls are available from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Sketch Saturday Challenge
2 posts on a Saturday long time since that has happened, but after a the best pick me up a crafter could have (a visit to a Craft Shop) I just had to use some of the fabulous goodies I bought at Oyster Stamps, wow what an Aladdin’s Cave of goodies it is, and such brilliant prices on Martha Stewart Punches and Spellbinders, they are taking pre-orders for The New Spellbinders and Martha Stewart Punches on the website at the moment.
Yesterday I popped over to Mo’s site to see what new images had been added since my last visit, I fell in love with this one as soon as I saw it and of course a few more fell into my basket at the same time. I have Used Copics and Prismas to colour the image and added some Glamour Dust around the top of her stocking. I used Nesties Lables to cut out image and mat, Two Martha Stewart Snowflake punches were used as well as the small and Large Water Lily punch, these were some of todays purchases as was the LUSH and YUMMY K&Co paper pad called Winter Wonderland, of wow this pad is full of foiled and glittered Christmas papers wish I had bought 2 now, might order another and have a little blog candy next week. The Cherry Blossom and 10mm Open Rose are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I am entering this for Sketch Saturday Challenge the sketch is again just perfect, don’t know how you girls continue to give us such awesome sketches everyweek.

Christmas in July
Penny Black Saturday Challenge
Without more ado it's time for this week challenge and to get you in the mood
cue music maestro.....Jingle Bells....Jingle Bells....yes.....
IT'S CHRISTMAS IN JULY
we know you are all thinking it's still summer...not according to the recent weather we've been having but anyway....it's never too early to make a start on the Christmas Card List so a great chance to get some inspiration for this year's cards
and it's entirely up to you what you create....the only limit is your own imagination.....a card...altered art...layout...notebook etc...the only RULE being that you use at lease ONE PENNY BLACK IMAGE...LARGE SENTIMENT OR STICKEROO
Morning Peeps, I have woken up full of the joys of Summer and am looking forward to a trip to Oyster Crafts at Rochester later this morning thanks to my dear friend Lin. It does seem mad making Christmas cards in July but I have been using Christmas images for the last month now with the release of the Lili of the Valley Christmas Collection earlier this month.
I have used Copics to colour these cute mice, with Twinklets from Crafts U Love added around the bottom. The Paper is from last years Christmas stash collection but luckily this piece had the name of it on the bottom it is from Basic Grey Fruit Cake collection, it looks as if the circles on the paper are shining bright and I thought it matched the meeces lantern. The ribbon is from stash and the Poinsettias are from Wild Orchid Crafts I took the large white one apart and added Twinklets to both layers then glued the back together again, the red one has Stardust Stickles around the edge (not sure if I like this), the Flat Back Pearls are also from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Yesterday I posted the a card on the Lili of the Valleys Ideas to Inspire blog but didn’t give any information on what was used on it so here goes:
It wasn’t until we went to Do0ncaster that I realised that the Dt hadn’t made a card with this fabulous Lili of the Valley Father Christmas Image, so I thought I had better get back and get one done. He has been coloured with Copics and lots of Glamour Dust has been added to his fur. The paper is by Craft Creations and as I bought it last year I am not sure where I got it from . A Martha Stewart Ribbon Punch has been used on the plain red layer. The Cherry Blossom has been sprayed with Pearl Glimmer Mist and Stardust Stickles have been added around the edges of the petals.
Have a great weekend everyone

Just Magnolia Challenge - Vintage
This week our challenge on Just Magnolia Challenge is a theme - VINTAGE, so lots of scope to get creative and olde worlde.
Don’t forget that you can combine our challenge with any other challenges of your choice as long as the main image on your creation is a Magnolia stamp you will qualify to be in the draw for the fab prize. And remember NO back linking, new projects/cards only please.
I do love Vintage but I also struggle a bit with it, but the new release Magnolia paper inspired me in the making of this card. I have Torn and distressed the edges of all the papers, then distressed with Antique Linen Distress Ink and added Gold Stickles, The photo corner is by Tim Holtzs and I hope adds the right vintage look. The Love Ticket is also a Tim Holtzs product. The Cherry Blossom which has been edged with Gold Stickles is available from Wild Orchid Crafts , I Just know your eye will be drawn to the awesome Lace this came in my DT package along with the Flat Back Pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts and they should both be available from about 10am Today on the Wild Orchid Crafts website.
If you would like to get your hands on some of the lovely lace and pearls pop over to Bevs website where she is offering a fabulous Wild Orchid Craft Candy.

Lili of the Valley Challenge and a Little LOTV Candy
It’s Lili of the valley Challenge time again, this week we have a fabulous sketch by Bev to follow and my fellow DT members have created some of the most stunning cards to give you inspiration. I will also be offering a Little Lili of the Valley Candy at the end of this post.
This sweet stamp from Lili of the Valley new Christmas Collection is called All Wrapped Up, isn’t she the perfect little Victorian Lady, I have used Copics on this card, The Papers are Bo Bunny I think, The sentiment is a Magnolia Stamp, I have stamped around the nestie shape with Stempleglede Swirl Stamp and Pale Grey Ink then I have added Glamour Dust to the swirls. The 30mm Wild Rose, 10mm Roses and 5mm Rose Buds from Wild Orchid Crafts have had Stardust Stickles added around the edges and have been sprayed with Pearl Glimmer Mist.
Now for a Little Lili of the Valley Candy, I have these 2 gorgeous little stamps to give to one luck person, all you have to do is leave a link in Mr Linky below and write a note about the candy on your blog with a link back here.
The candy will close at Midnight on Sunday 26th July. Best of luck.

Papertake Weekly Challenge
OMG it is just so hot and humid here today, I am longing for it to rain, I can not sit in my craft room for longer than 30 mins even with 2 fans blowing. Sorry for the rant. Todays card is for Papertake Weekly Challenge where the theme is cute, in my eyes Tilda is always cute so I hope she qualifies.
I based this whole card on the Label Die by Magnolia, I just had to use it somewhere I love the shabby look of it, I have distressed around the edges with Spun Sugar Distress Inks then added Glamour Dust and a little MS Butterfly, the sentiment is by Magnolia and has been stamped with Spun Sugar Distress Ink. My favourite Magnolia Paper has been distressed and inked and Tilda herself has been coloured with copics and lots of Glamour Dust. Pink Cherry Blossom, two tone Baby Pink Sweet Rose and 6mm Closed Rosebuds are all from Wild Orchid Crafts .
Face and Arms – E21, E00, E000, E0000
Dress – R85, R83, R81, RV000, RV0000
Hair – E53, E51, E50

A Chatty Post
Good afternoon everyone, I am so late with today's post, but I have been trying to tidy up after my weekend away. What a fantastic time we had at the Lili of the Valley Stand at Doncaster it was mega mega busy and on Saturday we sold out of lots of the new and old stamps, Bev, Marcea and I had to send Lisa and Laila home to pick up lots more stamps for Sunday, and again by the end of the show we had more empty boxes than full.
It was fabulous to see you all and thank you so much for your lovely comments, it is so nice to know that you love the stamps as much as we do, and once again it was so nice to put faces to names, a big thanks to Net who bought us a lovely box of yummy Cupcakes and also a fab punch each thanks hun XXXXX.
You may find that some of the new stamps have also sold out on the website, Lisa and Laila order even more stamps than usual but the demand has been unprecedented, but don’t panic we hope to have them back in stock asap.
I coloured this image up at the show and he seemed to be very popular so i thought I would bring him home with me and make a card, I love this colour scheme of Aqua and Brown. The image has been coloured with Copics
BG10, BG11, BG13, E70, E71, E40, E50, E53, & Face E21, E00, E000, E0000.
The paper is last years Silver Snow by Fancy pants designs, the snow flakes are from my stash, the sweet Cherry Blossom is from Wild Orchid Crafts, the sentiment if a Magnolia Stamp.
Here are a couple of photos taken of the Lili of the Valley Stand
may I present to you Laila ,Barbie (opps sorry Marcea) and Lisa, the girls changed the layout of the stand on Sunday, and it worked really well, looks good don’t you think.
Now there is a reason for me showing this picture, I have a little story to tell about why I look so tired!!!!!, I stayed Saturday night at a hotel in Doncaster had a fabulous evening with Sara and the Girls from Crafters Companion, when I got back to the bedroom I had my shower before bed and put my watch back on, I woke up with a start in the morning took a look at my watch and saw it was 9am, we were supposed to be leaving for the racecourse at 9.15, I rushed had a shower put on my slap then pulled the curtains to find it pitched black outside, NUMPTY that I am I had put on my watch upside down!!!!!!! and it was actually 3am. Nothing for it but to go outside and have a ciggie, so now you know why I look as if I am falling asleep on my feet
Hugs to you all dear friends
