This is a long one

008a

Hope you have a coffee with you as this could turn out to be a marathon,  I have 3 cards to post today but I will make it as short as I can.

First its Friday that means Just Magnolia Challenge,  Because it’s our special monthly challenge we have Simon Says Stamp to sponsor us with an amazing $30 voucher to spend in their store.

With over 100,000 items in stock, Simon is proud to offer the best selection of Rubber Stamps, Scrapbooking, Artist Trading Cards, Altered Art, and Paper Crafting Supplies in the world!

This month, our special monthly challenge is to make a Criss-Cross card.

Don’t forget that you can combine our challenge with any other challenges of your choice as long as the main image on your creation is a Magnolia stamp you will qualify to be in the draw for the fab prize. And remember NO back linking, new projects/cards only please.

We have a fabulous Video Tutorial on the Just Magnolia Blog created by our own awesome Jeanette, on how to make a Criss Cross Card.

008

For the outside of the card I have used, Brazzil Basic Pink Card and beautiful download papers from Bearly Mine designs, the edges have been punched the Martha Stewart Doily Punch, and Blowing Kisses Tilda has been coloured with Copics and lots of Stardust Stickles. 30mm Pink and White Wild Rose, Pink Cherry Blossom and 5mm Rose Buds are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

011

The insert is another Magnolia Stamp and I have added a sentiment to the banner, it has also been coloured with Copics

010

My next 2 cards are for this months Crafters Companion Monthly Challenge

001a

I just loved the fabulous sketch by our Teamie Leann for this months Challenge and could nor resist making 2 cards, Sara has again donated a fabulous Surprise Candy for one Lucky winner so I do hope you can come and join us this month, to find out more and to see Leanns great sketch just click HERE.

001I am so pleased that Popcorn has been resized and now fits comfortably on a 6” x 6” card, I have used Grey Copics to colour as I made this card for a little girl who has a 2 week trial period at big school before starting full time after the summer holidays, I think the grey just looks more feminine.  The lush papers are from the Crafters Companion Popcorn Kids CD there are some fabulous papers on there.  I used Copic Ciao pens, available from the Crafters Companion website, to colour Popcorn.

003 My second card is using  a fabulous Sarah Kay image from Stampavie , Crafters Companion have just received the new release stamps from Stampavie and they have been uploaded to the website and can be found here.

004

I love making Easel cards but hate taking photos of them.  I have used Copic Ciaos again to colour the image, the papers are from Bearly Mine designs, the butterflies have been punched out of Vellum with the Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch.  All the Flower, Lace and Pins are available from Wild Orchid Crafts.

004aWell thats it friends I have tried to keep it as short as possible.

Have a good day

Hugs Jacqui xx
