To celebrate the launch of ‘A Winter’s Tale’ this Tuesday, Crafters Companion have set a cardmaking challenge on the Crafters Companion Monthly Challenge blog. The theme of the challenge is “Beatrix Potter”, and you can make a card or other crafting project using any of the range that we’ve launched to date.
Up for grabs, we have the full ‘A Winter’s Tale’ collection, including CD, stamp set and cardmaking kit for the lucky winner, plus an ‘A Winter’s Tale’ CD for five runners-up. Simply upload a photo of your creation onto your blog, Facebook page, Flickr or other social networking page and post a link back to your card using Mr. Linky below the post.
Why not take a look at this month’s Monthly Challenge too? You could create a Beatrix Potter card using the sketch, and enter two challenges with one card, doubling your chances to win! You can enter as many cards as you like - the more times you enter, the more chance you have to win! The closing date for the challenge is Sunday 26th September.
If you do not yet have any Beatrix Potter products, you can still enter the challenge! We have a selection of papers from the brand new ‘A Winter’s Tale’ range available for you to download for FREE from the Members section of the web site! Click here to access your free papers. If you’re struggling for inspiration, check out the Projects section on our web site, where you’ll find a fabulous card and pillow box made using the free papers.
There is some great inspiration fom some of my fellow DT members so why not click Here to come and join in the fun.
Like an idiot I forgot to take Photos of my Sample cards before I sent them off to Crafters Companion, but the lovely Meg took some piccies for me to use, just in case you are wondering where the white background has gone!! To make this card I have used a Scene from the CD and 3d a stamped and coloured image onto it. The papers are also from the CD. Wow when I first received this Beatrix Potter Collection I spent hours just looking trough the CD there is so much awesome stuff on there, projects and the fabulous backgrounds as above plus lots more, I can see this being used for more than just Peter Rabbit projects, and of course the stamps are just perfect, I love all the characters on the sheet, especially one of Mummy Bunny with Peters brothers and Sisters. I will show you one more card today look out for more during the week.
More paper from the Cd and a great stamp from the Stamp sheet. I made this into a shaker card (my first), I used Twinklets for the snow behind the acetate. All the flowers, Ribbon and lace on both cards are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
