Winter Fairy

Hi Peeps in a rush today, reading posts by fellow bloggers has made me realise how far behind I am in my Christmas Preparations,  have ordered food and made some cards, but as far as Christmas Presents go I have bought precisely one.   So off to Canterbury this morning to remedy this.  I am looking for a really unusual present for the boys and their partners, I have thought about a couple of “Grow Your Own Exotic Mushrooms” for one of them, but am really stuck for the others any ideas?

I bought this delicious Winter Fairy Talva from Mo’s Digital Pencil a couple of weeks ago and had not found time to use her, I loved colouring her so much I am sure she will be used a lot more in the future.  I have coloured her with Copics and Polychromos Pencils.  The Backing papers are Magnolia Christmas Collection.

The flowers and bell used are from The Ribbon Girl, I have added a few dots of Opal Liquid Pearls around the image.  The Cheesecloth and beautiful distressed Seam Binding are from Live and Love Crafts.

Once again lots of Die’s used, Doo Hickey Snowflake, Tag, Twisted Swirl all from Bunny Zoe’s Crafts, Plus Cheery Lynn English Tea Party Doily Die has been popped behind the image.

Copics Used:

Flesh: E13, E11, E00, E000, E0000, R20, R00, Hair: E74, E43, E40, Boots E74, E43, Pinks: RV66, RV52, RV10, RV0000, BV01, BV00, BV000

I am entering this card for the following Challenges

Mo’s Digital Challenge – Lets Chill

Live and Love Crafts Challenge – Christmas

Hugs to you all

What a sweet image Jacqui, and I love the way you've coloured her! Beautiful card.

If your sons have gardens and small kiddos, why not buy them a hedgehog hut for the garden, to encourage the little hibernating snufflers to snuggle down in their gardens for the winter and then the kiddos can look forward to seeing them in the spring when they emerge! Heard a friend talking about them today and thought it was a really sweet pressie idea! Hugs, Wends x

Following from my previous message... Here's a site with links for the Hedgehog houses:

Just a bit of fun, but great for the snuffly friends too.

Happy shopping! Wends x
